We spent two nights in Flemmings apartement. The room & the whole flat were very nice & clean. We had the possibility to use the fully equipped kitchen which we didnt as we didnt spend much time in the room other than for sleeping. The area is very central and quiet. Central Station is about 15-20 min walking distance or you can use public transport (Metro station is appr. 5 min away)
Flemming is a nice and open guy, he provided us with a street map and some good recommendations for cafes and restaurant in the area nearby (the Tuna Sandwich in Tobi's Cafe at the corner is highly recommendable :-) )
As written in other reviews already the flat is in the 5th floor with no lift.
I had a late check in due to the arrival of the flight, but Flemming was kind enough to stay late and welcome me. His recommendations to cafes and places to visit were also very good. I had a great time in Copenhagen. His apartment was clean and spacious, looked exactly like in the picture, even better actually. I did not get a chance to use the kitchen, unfortunately, but it looked equipped. The only thing you might need to consider is that his apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator (but you should already be prepared for that if you've decided to book this sweet listing, right? ;)).
Nice apartment in a great old building on the 5th floor near the centre.
The communication was quick and welcoming and personal.
We stayed alone in the appartement. Nice beds, we even got an extra bed to sleep separate (my husband and brother-in-law).
We even got access to the WIFI and hand towel. Very friendly.
Flemming made my first visit to Denmark a memorable one. Although I had a pretty heavy suitcase and knew his place was a 5th floor walkup, he offered to carry it up with seemingly no effort at all. The accommodation was very cozy, but I did not actually spend much time in the room other than for sleeping. Copenhagen such a great down for walking, and the Islands Brygge neighborhood is only a few minutes from downtown, but it's entirely residential and very quiet. Flemming had a lot of recommendations for eating places, and all the people in the neighborhood were nice and spoke much better English than my Danish.
Parking is plentiful, but a bit expensive--about $11 for a stay of about 20 hours.
Lovely room and apartment, in a great area and building. Flemming is really friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant stay- would definately stay again. Thank you!

I live in Copenhagen, staying parttime in my flat at Islands Brygge, parttime in a nearby area with my girlfriend. We frequently go to Berlin, where we share a flat with friends. I rent out a large, private room when I'm home, and the entire flat when I'm with my girlfriend.
I hold a degree in sociology and study physiotherapy - hoping one day to be able to help minimize back problems and other lifestyle diseases that hamper the quality of life in post-modern societies. In my spare time I run, work out, do yoga and read a lot of books.
