Sergio's place is very well appointed, light and very well positioned, and so very charming. Key pick up could not have been easier. The place is very clean, quiet and warm with a supermarket and metro stop located conveniently nearby and many bistros and restaurants virtually on the doorstep.
We stayed a week and could have stayed many more. Highly recommended for 1-4 people to very comfortably stay in the trendy Marais.
A lovely apartment, in a nice part of town. It has character and is recently renovated. (the stairs in the building are under renovation currently) Its a shame I had to cut my stay short, as I didnt make the most of it.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! Sergio was very helpful in providing details about transportation and the area on the confirmed itinerary and was also incredibly responsive when we had a question in the middle of our trip.
The apartment itself is just as described and displayed on the site - beautiful, quaint, and very comfortable. My boyfriend and I are from New York City and felt at home right away. The apartment is spotless and equipped with everything you could need (for example, I forgot my hair dryer, and found one to use under the sink).
The location is also excellent. Near multiple metro stations and in the Marais. Check out the guest book and all the Paris guides provided in the apartment when you arrive. You'll find great recommendations from past guests. Thank you to Sergio!
Sergio's charming and spacious flat in the Marais was a fantastic base for our 8-day stay in Paris. The location could not be more convenient--the chic, ancient Marais district stretches away to the west, the Bastille to the east, the Metro is steps away, as are fabulous shops, patisseries, restaurants, etc. We used the well-equipped kitchen for breakfasts and the occasional take-out meal; we certainly could have cooked there, had we been so inclined. We found coffee and cream in the fridge upon our arrival. The wi-fi worked perfectly, with a strong signal (and the password was prominently displayed), and the TV was simple to figure out.
The beautifully-tiled bathroom has a stall shower with somewhat namby-pamby water pressure, but it was so pretty who cared? The adequately-comfortable beds were made up when we arrived, there was plenty of attractive closet and drawer space, and our five-year-old daughter even found some toys lurking about. We made good use of the umbrellas we found on the coat rack.
Sergio stayed in touch throughout our stay (he is not local), and Francoise the concierge was delightful totally on the ball the one time we had a problem with our key.
The flat is up four flights of steep, winding stairs, and after flying all night and then lugging our suitcases up we were actually shaky. But it was never that hard again.
We would be thrilled to stay at Sergio's place again, and strongly encourage you to do the same!
What a beautiful apartment! My wife and I enjoyed the place for a week, the turret provides amazing view over the rooftops of Paris in three directions. The place was well furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple meals and the dishwasher was greatly appreciated. The location is also great, on a quiet street but very close to a number of useful metro stations and only a few blocks away from Place des Vosges. I would definitely recommend this place, and will absolutely try to book it for next time I head to Paris!
My husband and I spent 6 idyllic days in Paris in early December, with Sergio's ultra charming apartment as a perfect "home base". The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed to feel at home. It's located in a trendy and bustling neighborhood with a great variety of eateries and shops in close proximity. It's only a few short blocks from an entrance to the Metro, the extremely efficient public transportation system that makes navigating Paris a breeze. The apartment is bright and cheery during the day and the views at night (most notably out the turret windows-with Sacre Coeur in the distance) are remarkable. Sergio and Francoise were very friendly and accommodating with any questions or requests that we had. We travel frequently and will count this as one of our most enjoyable trips, due in large part to Sergio's wonderful apartment! We hope to stay there again soon.
What a perfect prefect apartment in Paris I cannot wait to stay there again. Fabuleux
Absolutely amazing, Beautiful beyond words. Typically french apartment without being overbearing. so much better than a hotel its hard to even describe. will be staying here again soon.
When we were looking for somewhere to stay in Le Marais, we thought the reviews for this place were too good to be true. They are not. It's a very special place to stay in a good neighbourhood, well equipped, clean, comfortable and really charming. Heed the warning of the stairs - but it's oh so worth it. Hope to come back soon - Phil, Ruth and the girls
Apartment was just perfect for our week in Paris. Lovely views of the city from all windows. Very close to a metro station, and easy to transfer to all the major attractions. Had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, and was nicely furnished. Lots of reading material on Paris and France available. Only slight downside was the stairs. However, we more than needed them after a few croissants!
