This beach home is truly a tropical escape. Bordering a 3200 acre nature sanctuary with secluded beaches, hiking trails with stunning views and tranquil lagoons. This not a groomed, crowded resort. This location is the perfect destination - for families with children and seniors, beach bums, adventure-seeking couples, kayaking, boogie boarding, hiking and wildlife photographic enthusiasts. One of the few certified wildlife habitats in Puerto Rico.

The space
This older home, of traditional Caribbean design, is fully airconditioned, with two full bathrooms, three bedrooms and plenty of space in the family room and library/game room to find an escape indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with traditional appliances, utensils, dishes and pots and pans to handle your cooking needs. Nothing fancy, yet fully functional.
The family room exits to a large back yard with a gazebo, deck, grill and pool with unobstructed views of sunset over the Sanctuary.

A small gated community surrounded on three sides by protected park lands. The small City of Humacao, with all the shopping and services needed 15 minutes away, balances perfectly urban and nature. It features both beautiful coasts and a buzzing city home to the largest resort in Puerto Rico, just under a half hour away from our quiet home.
Humacao is home to a nature reserve, where outdoor enthusiasts can rent kayaks to row along a calm lake, surrounded by dense green foliage. Outside the coast of Humacao, travelers can take a tour to Cayo Santiago, “Monkey Island” an island with more than one thousand monkeys and America’s only primate research island.
