Sunset Hill is close to the town of Santa Elena, about 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes in a vehicle(A car is recommended). Also The Famous Monteverde Cloud forest and most of the tours are located 10 to 20 minutes away. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, Great for Couples! It has 1 bedroom with King size bed. The home is in the middle of a lush 5+ acre property, which ensures absolute privacy and tranquility. Honeymoon Gulf View Suite is an unforgettable place to stay with a Majestic View.

The space
With only Six Houses in the property(5 Acres) and no neighbors close by you can enjoy peace and quiet in a forest setting. Clean room with hot water, possible chance to see animals right outside the rooms and owner help with guides and activities. The Balcony is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or for watching an amazing Costa Rican sunset.

The room have coffeemaker and Monteverde coffee plus small refrigerator.

Parking near the house.There is adequate space for parking for cars right beside our rentals.

Upon arrival to the House we give all guests a map of Monteverde and mark out all the different tours and activities that various companies offer in the area. This way guests learn about what is available to them and can suss out how long they might like to stay for. If required they can create "pick and mix" packages of various activities to suit each individual.

Sunset Hill-Honeymoon Gulf View Suite is located 2 miles from downtown on the road leading out of Santa Elena going south down the mountain to the main Inter American highway (# 1 ).

Our driveway is quite steep and rocky. You can get up the hill without 4 by 4 but it is recommended.

PD Some comments say that we do not have WIFI, but after the month of March we already installed it.

Other things to note
New jacuzzi has just been installed in April 2019!!!

There are no patterns in the weather. Be prepared with fresh clothes for sunny days; something for warmth, a sweater or light jacket is sufficient and slippers to be in the house.

Also Monteverde during most part of the year(November through April) is very (URL HIDDEN) please understand that this is what you can expect. If high wind conditions may bother you it may be best to avoid Monteverde as there is nothing we can do about the normal conditions that include high wind during those months. We cannot control the weather. Don't blame us. It is nature and Monteverde.

However even with high winds you should be able to enjoy any activity we have here in Monteverde. And we can almost guarantee that you will not see one mosquito here unless you bring it up in a suitcase.

Here is a description of our location and Monteverde in general:

Monteverde is more a region than a town, everything then is spread out. Our town is called Santa Elena which has two supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, many souvenir shops and restaurants. We are known as Monteverde because of the Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve.
Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of attractions, including much for the ecologically minded tourist with options for both education and adventure. Enjoy a guided day or night tour of many trail systems with a local naturalist, visit the Butterfly Garden, Bat Museum, or Frog Pond, whiz through a zipline canopy tour, or search out local artists at their galleries. Monteverde is the perfect site both for nature lovers and those interested in rich cultural diversity.
