The apartment is in one of the most vibrant and electric areas in London and benefits from great amenities and transportation links. Shoreditch and Brick Lane are just a short walk from the apartment. Here you can you can visit the best curry houses in London, browse the vintage shops and visit some of the most interesting and eclectic bars and clubs in town! Columbia Road Flower Market is also within walking distance. The area is packed with great pop up clothes shops, bars and art galleries, and there is always something going on!
There are heaps of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. There are also plenty of food shops just seconds from the apartment, in case you don't want to eat out!
The area has great transportation links too. Old street tube (Northern line) is just a short walk from the apartment. Interaction with Guests
Most of the time i will be present at this listing. Ocasionally i will be away and a 2nd airbnb will be in the 2nd guest room (my room) but this is rare.
Upper st has the most international restaurants populated on one street in the whole of london. I'm EC1 which is east central I have 4 tube (metro line stations) to choose from because im so centrally located.
Great bus and tube transport and cycle hire outside my flat.
Other Things to Note
I sometimes work from home as a massage therapist so if i have a client in the house i will ask a guest to be aware of this.
-welcome snack in the first day
-size of the room
-no shower, and you have to plan with advance your bath to switch on the hot water
-you cannot use your shoes at home
-strange smell all over the house
-no desk in the house, relevant if you want to work at home
-no direct lift to the house. Relevant when transporting bags
Arnie is very nice and helpful and made sure we had a great time and knew how to get around.
Arnie was a perfect host. The apartment was exactly as listed and had everything I needed. Arnie was kind, helpful, very welcoming and a delight to be around. The location was great close to transport and shops. I would recommend this apartment to anyone needing to stay in the area.
Arnie was a lovely host! I arrived in the evening, and Arnie was waiting and generously helped me carry my (very heavy!) bags and offered me tea and biscuits. I stayed with him for a month, and I really enjoyed my time here. The location was excellent, very close to Angel Station, and there is a bus that leaves directly in from of the complex. Arnie was always friendly, and very easy to talk to. The room is very large, clean, and comfortable. The apartment was clean, and the view was excellent. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to others!
It was really nice. I had a problem with the power line of my notebook and Arnie was extremely helpful. The highrise is in Islington / Clerkenwell, just 10min from the Museum of London and the nightlife places in Old Street. Highrises have a bad reputation, but this one felt safe and comfortable.
It was an absolute pleasure staying with Arnie for six weeks. He was the perfect host. He made me feel very welcome in his lovely flat. It's a big room with a great view over London in a friendly block of flats very close to the centre of London.
Arnie was a great host, very helpful, gave me directions whenever I needed about the city. The flat is about 5-8 min walk away from main inbound lines either from Angel or Barbican. Breakfast and dinner around the street. Recommended.
