Salal is very kind and offers a very special location to spent your time in Hong Kong. The information he provides is perfect so you will have no trouble to find his boat. It is in a very good shape and Siti, his helper, made it easy for us to feel home and welcomed. We arrived at New Years Eve and had booked the doublebed room in the top level of "Moksha" where we stayed for 5 nights. But I would recommend the lower cabin during wintertime as it got quite cold up there when we came back from our daytrips in the evening and where eager for a nice and cosy place. Therefore a 100€ are a bit overpriced. Going to Central and Kowloon from Aberdeen though was no problem at all. There is a bus stop right were the Sampan drops you after the 3min ride and from there it's only a 25min busride "downtown". All in all a nice and different experience on Airbnb we, besides the low temperature in the top cabin, would totally recommend.
Sarah's place is an amazing location which is to be discovered by adventurous guests! The night view with the background of high buildings' light illumination cannot be described well.
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I didn't meet Saral, but Siti was a wonderful host. She was there to welcome me and advise on the best way to get to places. The boat is great, surprisingly spacious and very clean and comfortable. There are Sampans available most of the time that take you to shore where you can pick up buses or taxis. This can be a bit of a bind at the moment as there are lots of roadworks in the local area that made getting in and out of the city quite time consuming (1 hour plus on occasion - Oct 2014) If you want to relax at the end of a trip then i would highly recommend the boat, it was a pleasure to watch the comings and goings of the harbour from the top deck. However, if you want to pop in and out of the city or have appointments to make during your trip then you may be better off staying closer to town.
This was my absolute favorite place that I stayed in Hong Kong. The suite was lovely, the caretaker was so pleasant and sweet, and the boat itself was so relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay.
I had been nervous about actually finding it, but the directions that were emailed made it very clear and simple. The water taxis were an adventure every time!
I would definitely recommend it and absolutely would return.

We live on the boat with our helper Siti and two funny cat Shiva and Apple. Saral is from India and Siti is from Indonesia and we enjoy to share living on the boat experience with the guest comes all around the world.
We enjoy the life on the boat and the peaceful life style make us feel great, if you want to try something different in Hong Kong, Moksha will be your good choice.
Our property agent said to us while we were looking to rent a property, "Careful, You can't live on Land after living on a boat". I thought being an agent he was trying to push a story but realized soon enough that he was right. We finally bought the boat to live on it forever.
Hong Kong is a great city but with very limited space, it makes it difficult to live if you come from open places. Having a 6 feet by 2 feet balcony in Hong-Kong means throwing millions more and a sea view is something only thousands of dollar/night can buy you.
You can check out the 5 rooms on the boats from the link below,
