  • Clean, tidy room. Terry a good host. You need a car to get round Canberra as buses not great. Try Malasian restaurant in Griffith, very good.

  • My friend and I shared this room for 5 nights. Terry and Margie were lovely hosts. Although we didn't get to meet them until the last night of our stay, they checked to make sure we were ok via email. The room was clean and well presented, and was all we needed. We made good use of the beautiful garden/BBQ area to have dinner and play with the dog. Overall we were pleased with the facilities and enjoyed out stay very much.

  • This was a lovely little garden apartment in a nice quiet area. Very close to the downtown shops and a short drive into Canberra. The room was very nice with all the amenities we could ask for, even a lovely bottle of wine and fresh flowers next to the bed. A very sweet touch. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

  • We stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect location for us! It was only 15mn drive from the main attractions in Canberra. We felt very confortable and appreciated the nice view of the garden from the room. Yes it is very convenient to have your own space apart from the main house and it was nice to use the barbecue too. Terry and Margie were great hosts, we highly recommend to stay at their place!

  • Terry and Margie were very welcoming. We had a lovely time seeing Canberra by day and retiring to our roost at night. They had great tourist information available. We were left to enjoy the space. Breakfast outdoors was a terrific start to our days. Lesbian friendly. Thanks to you both for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

  • We stayed with Terry and Margie for two night during the XMAS break. They were very welcoming, entertaining and nice to talk to. They even gave us advice for personal and professional matters. The room and bathroom were very nice and clean. It was all as described. Being a room that is separate from the house has the advantage of not having to worry if you come back late after a day out.
It is only a 15 minute drive to mostly anywhere you want to go, and it is in a very quiet area.
Would definitely come back and recommend to friends who want to visit Canberra.

  • We stayed a week at Terry and Margie’s accommodation which was a unit attached to the main house with separate entry. It consisted of bedroom with ensuite, The bedroom had a small fridge, queen bed, wardrobe, small table with 2 chairs, chest of drawers and another piece of furniture with drawers and a microwave space with electric jug on top. The real bonus for us was the outdoor covered area which had a gas barbecue and large outdoor table and chairs. This allowed us to self-cater which meant we could what we wanted, when we wanted.

We spent an evening chatting with Margie and Terry and they are an open and friendly couple who are well traveled. They were generous hosts and their little dog Pip was a welcome daily visitor. We would definitely stay here again.
