  • Very good value, wonderful hosts and comfortable room with all amenities.
Terry and Margaret are very hospitable and kind; they seem to know almost everything about Canberra and if they don't, they will find out for you.
    We felt almost like family.

    Thank you

  • I had a wonderful time at Terry and Margie's lovely studio. The location is absolutely wonderful, very quiet and peaceful. Terry and Margie are wonderful hosts - very friendly, very willing to help and really enjoyable to talk to (they even shared a bottle of wine with me in one of the evenings).
If you wish to stay somewhere very close to the city but yet in a much more peaceful and quiet area – look no further, this is the place for you! I’ll definitely come back - no question about it.

  • This was a lovely, cosy and comfortable room in a quiet neighbourhood. Terry and Margie were excellent hosts. They were very helpful to us, but at the same time very respectful of our privacy. Also they were happy to talk to, and give any advice they could, to our niece and her husband who had just arrived from overseas to live in Canberra.

  • Terry was a very helpful host and the room was very well equipped, including the surprise of finding a very nice bottle of wine on our arrival. The location suited us very well, as it was a short car journey to all the sites in Canberra. We would highly recommend Terry's place to other travellers.

  • Terry is a friendly and helpful person. The communication to organise the check in was good. The room is very well situated, just 5 minutes to Queanbeyan centre and shopping malls. The drive to Canberra is also smooth and takes only 15 minutes. In general, our stay was good and we recommend it to other guests. The bottle of wine was a nice surprise.

  • "Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced in commuting distance to Canberra. I stayed recently for an extended period for work reasons. Terry and Margie were very welcoming and made what could easily have been a rather lonely time away from my family a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The room is clean and convenient and the hammock in the garden is a delight in the summer."

  • Clean, tidy room. Terry a good host. You need a car to get round Canberra as buses not great. Try Malasian restaurant in Griffith, very good.

  • My friend and I shared this room for 5 nights. Terry and Margie were lovely hosts. Although we didn't get to meet them until the last night of our stay, they checked to make sure we were ok via email. The room was clean and well presented, and was all we needed. We made good use of the beautiful garden/BBQ area to have dinner and play with the dog. Overall we were pleased with the facilities and enjoyed out stay very much.

  • This was a lovely little garden apartment in a nice quiet area. Very close to the downtown shops and a short drive into Canberra. The room was very nice with all the amenities we could ask for, even a lovely bottle of wine and fresh flowers next to the bed. A very sweet touch. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.
