From the day I walked into Aunty Nellie's house, she made me feel like family. Her entire family took me in as one of their own, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at her place. I definitely have a place I can call home now in Nairobi!

Nellie is an absolute joy! She is a lovely host and welcomed me with open arms (literally!). She was full of information regarding transportation and local things to do. She's a fantastic cook and frequently invited me to dine with her. The room was clean and very comfortable and overall it was just simply a lovely experience! Thank you Nellie!!!!

I visited Nairobi in July 2015 and stayed with Nellie. I would recommend anyone visiting Nairobi to stay with her. She is very nice and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Her apartment is very well-centrally located. It is close to the CBD, Westlands, and so on. It is easy to get to meetings if you are there on business. The apartment complex is quiet and comfortable. Nellie really seems to enjoy her visitors, and it is fun to talk with her! This is a good place to stay.

This was my home away from home and Nellie made me fill that from day 1! Absolutely lovely apartment with the best host I could have asked for! Its a pretty serene & beautiful environment, exactly what we wanted. The area is very safe and convenient to get into the city center and anywhere else really, as its located very close to the State House and U. Nairobi. You are not short of shopping mall & restaurants here (near Westlands), plus there's the Safari Park Hotel close by, for a nice weekend brunch and possibly a deep in the pool. Nellie is a wonderful hostess and very helpful too! Any issues I had in the apartment, she made sure they were sorted out immediately... Thanks Nellie! You know you are family to me now! Fast at responding to any queries I had, she arranged for the airport pick up, and even got in touch a week after I had left to check on whether we had arrived home safe. That was a big plus for me... I would highly recommend this place, because I am sure you'll love it... I honestly did!

I stayed with Nellie during a week-long work trip to Nairobi. I was busy most of the time, but Nellie was a friendly host, offering good advice on restaurants and attractions at a moment's notice.

I enjoy cooking great family meals, in fact, if you choose to stay with me - you can count on being invited to join a lovely Sunday traditional Kenyan spread with my 3 and 7 year old grand kids (with their parents of course, I am not that crazy!). When I am not spoiling my grand kids - I am love traveling my favorite destinations so far have been San Diego, New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Perth, Johannesburg (not necessarily in that order). I love conversation (read - I love politics - local and international...). Warning - if you are younger than my oldest daughter who is 46 - you can count on over-advise on how to navigate Nairobi, staying safe, the best places to eat etc. All in all, I will take it personally that you have a good time in Nairobi and you accomplish your goals- to the best of my ability.
