The apartment is located in a listed building "Niçois" in the Port area. Very quiet, bright, air conditioned, fully equipped with a lift, it also has a small balcony overlooking a courtyard and a cellar.
Walls, ceilings, woodwork and windows (isolated), floors, bathroom and furniture are new. The appartment is 30 sqm in total. The main room has a window overlooking the courtyard, the room with its balcony are on court. The beds (140cm), a bed and a sofa bed with the same comfort as a fixed bed allow to free up space in the day. Kitchen and bathroom are equipped with quality equipments. Throughout the apartment, plenty of storage space are available.
Located geographically close to all major cultural sights of Nice (The Castle, Old Nice, Place Garibaldi, MAMAC, ...), from the apartment by foot in 2 minutes you reach the beach, walk down on the Promenade des Anglais up to the market Saleya, the old town (10 minutes).

"The neighborhood: Located in the heart of town, near the harbor, it is a very animated area. All food shops and services are located within 200 m. A supermarket is 2 mins walk, a hypermarket 10 minutes by walk. All along the street, several artisans retail all kinds of local products. As in all coastal cities, the port is the soul of the city. Here you will find among caterers and restaurants neighborhood of the real specialties of Nice. Nice, is the sea! After the Rue Bonaparte, take the average ledge direction Menton through 'La Turbie' and 'Eze village' and return by the 'Basse Corniche' seaside. The trip is fantastic ! If you do not have a car, the train is accessible 10 minutes walking from the apartment (Gare Nice-Riquier) car rental services.
Monaco, Menton, Antibes, Cannes, Grasse and its perfumes, Vallauris and its ceramics, Biot and its glass art are just as close. Nice is also a hinterland with its deep valleys and hilltop villages.
Two touristic trains: 'train des pignes' towards Digne and 'train des merveilles' towards Tende will assure to discover the hinterland."

Stephane was very accommodating. We arrived at midnight because our train was delayed due to the SNCF strike but he made sure someone was there to welcome us and explain how everything works. He was always available on the phone or email to answer questions. He even came to see us one late evening when we were having a problem with the water heater.
We stayed for 3 nights at this property and had a wonderful experience. It is well located (though not in the main 'touristy' area of Nice -- but still a walkable 15-20 minutes by the coastline), safe, and clean. The free wifi was great as well. Thanks Stephane!

The location perfect: nearby everywhere by walking, plenty of restaurants and cafes, two minutes walking to the supermarket.
Stephane was very helpful during our stay; he picked us up from the bus station late at night and brought us to the apartment. If we go to Nice again for sure we would like to stay in Stephane's apartment.

Shephane's apartment was very clean and nice. The stark colors of the cabinets and chairs give a good aesthetic to the place. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Stephane was nice and we had no problems with our stay. Ask for his socca restaurant recommendations!
We stayed in Stefanes apartment for four nights in May. Stefane was efficient replying to emails (in English as our French is poor) and met us on time when we arrived in Nice.
The apartment is well located in the port area with plenty local shops and places to eat. It is about 3 minutes walk to place Garibaldi & the tram stop, and about 5-10 min walk to the heart of the old town / promenade.
The apartment was comfortable, including the sofa bed. It is on the fourth floor but there is a lift with a few steps at the top. Only disappointment was the lack of a proper stand up shower - it's more a small bath with a shower head without shower curtain etc. There is a small kitchen which we didn't use much partly cause there's plenty of good local restaurants, in this regard i'd recommend L’Atelier Du Port. It's on the corner of the apartment block and should be booked as it's very popular with locals.
Clean, comfortable & very modern apartment in a great location! We arrived in Nice on a very late flight and Stéphane was extremely accommodating to meet us that same night to check us in and show us the flat. The flat itself has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay! We were there for one month so loved having the kitchen, washer/dryer and fast wifi. The bedroom has a real bed & plenty of closet/shelf space, and it can be closed off to the living area, which has a pull out sofa (though we didn't use the pull-out). The bathroom is a very good size in comparison to most in Europe and is modern & clean. The flat is on the 4th floor with a lift and the building is near the port area which has all sorts of great shops, bakeries, wine & grocery stores and restaurants close by, there is a Velo Bleu depot directly outside the building and it's centrally located to everything! Place Girabaldi, Vieux Nice, the Port, the Requier Train station, and the Promenade are all within 10-15 minutes walk in their respective directions. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again. Thank you.
Stephane is a fantastic host and very easy to communicate with even if your French is not good or non-existent. The flat is in a perfect location near the port - not too close to tourist central, but a mere 5 minute walk if you want to be in the middle. It's a modern, fully equipped space perfect for 1 or 2 adults. If you're on a budget, the sofa pulls out to a full bed.
Personally, I find the area around Bonaparte full of excellent restaurants, cafés and bars preferable to most places in the Old Town. Personal favorites: Atelier du Port, Deli Bo, Vinivore, & Le Local. There are many more and plenty of markets and specialty shops to fulfill virtually any whim.
All in all, I highly recommend both the host and the location!
