The Space

Imagine yourself in this lovely private detached studio apartment approximately 1 mile from downtown Healdsburg. The property has a flourishing garden available for your picking pleasure while the veggies and fruit are in season. If you are so inclined, your fresh produce can be prepared in the completely furnished kitchenette and enjoyed on the outside patio tables available for your dining experience. If cooking is not your forte, the number of local restaurants feature some of the top notch chefs in the area. The downtown square is within walking or bicycling distance with two available cruisers on site for your use. The queen size bed and comfortable living room will be a welcome relief after a long day of wine tasting in the region. If you can not enjoy this wonderful area without your furry companion, this is a dog friendly studio with a large fenced area so Fido will be as comfortable as you are in your new home away from home.

If the grapes allow, the home owner would love to share a glass of wine and talk about his second generation vineyard management experience in Sonoma County. Besides the 80+ wineries in renowned Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Wine Valleys, the Healdsburg community is also known for its antiques, natural beauty, and many fesitvals. Location is the key element in this getaway with San Francisco a mere 60 miles away, the Pacific Ocean a close 30 miles, and the Redwood State Park visited within 20 minutes.

Popular weekends for the cottage include Winter Wine Land, Barrel Tasting Weekends, Dry Creek Passport Weekend, Taste of Alexander Valley, and Sonoma County Harvest Fair.

  • Great studio right outside of Healdsburg! Erin and Tom were awesome hosts, extremely responsive and accommodating, super helpful and friendly. The room had everything we could want for a long weekend and was conveniently close to town, which made getting to the square a breeze.

  • Thanks Erin and Tom for a great stay! Friendly and convenient to town and wineries. Your garden and fresh hen eggs were amazing! Great tips on places to visit and loved riding the bikes. I recommend staying at this cozy place.

  • Erin and Tom were great hosts! Very chill, kind and friendly. The location is awesome - really close to the Russian River, downtown Healdsburg as well as to a few wineries. The house is right next to a vineyard and they have a great garden with all kinds of goodies. I highly recommend staying here if you're planning to visit Healdsburg.

  • This was the perfect place for us to stay during part of our honeymoon. We were able to visit an abundance of wineries and definitely enjoyed being just outside of town. Tom and Erin are great hosts and we loved having the bikes to use to get back and forth to town. The cottage is in a lovely setting and we were able to eat breakfast outside each morning with fresh eggs from the chickens. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting wine country and want a relaxed experience.

  • We had an awesome stay at Erin and Tom's place. The cottage is located very close to the Healdsburg downtown area, yet it is right next to vineyard and the signature green hilltops of wine country. We enjoyed playing with their dogs and their cat during our stay. Erin and Tom were very friendly, and gave us eggs right from their backyard. We also tasted the delicious vegetables (best asparagus ever had!) they let us pick from their backyard. The space is very comfortable as well, just like seen in the photos. This is by far the best way to experience the wine country!

  • Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Close to downtown. Dogs we're great and well behaved around our very bossy chihuahua.

  • Erin has a lovely cottage on a very pleasant property where we enjoyed picnic lunch in the garden. The cottage was very well equipped for all our needs, with a nicely furnished kitchen, table and chairs, and a comfortable bed. Erin warned us that it would take a long time for the water to get hot (it did), but once it did, there was plenty. Erin generously offered to help us out with various details. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • My girlfriend and I could not have had a better time! We made some delicious breakfast with Erin & Tom's fresh produce & their hens' eggs, played with the dogs and enjoyed the bicycles that were provided to us. I couldn't recommend this place any more highly - don't hesitate! Great people and a great property.

  • Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Erin and Tom were gracious hosts, greeting us upon arrival, showing us where the bikes were and what was ready to be picked in the garden, and introducing us to their dogs. If you're soulless and don't love dogs, fret not! Dodger and Moose don't jump and are all but silent. The cottage has all amenities you could need, from clean sheets and towels to pots, pans and a hair dryer. Downtown is less than a mile away and you're centrally located to all the amazing restaurants and vineyards Healdsburg has to offer. Couldn't have anticipated a better time for our first Airbnb stay and can't wait to recommend this adorable, comfortable place to friends!
