The Space

***Please ask me for availability of the house before you try to book***
This holiday house is placed in Baunei, one of the most characteristic town in the Ogliastra region and in the whole Sardinia. The house has been renewed recently, the entrance is independent. There are two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen and one bathroom. The beds are 7: one double bed, three single beds and a sofa bed. In the lounge there is a fireplace and a TV. In the house there is air conditioning hot / cold.
Near the house there is a market and a shop where to buy typical food products of the region. Moreover there are several hiking trails that reach the "Supramonte", where, together with nature, you can visit the "Nuraghi", the "Voragine del Golgo" or even the famous church "San Pietro". Other trails lead to the most beautiful beaches of the "Golfo di Orosei", as Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu and Cala Sisine, whose only points of access (by land) are in "Supramonte" . Nearby you can practice horseback riding and rock climbing, water sports as well.

Check In

  • I very much appreciated both the efficient and straightforward way of booking with no complications whatsoever in terms of deposit or extra fees. Upon our arrival everything was very well organised, the house being well equipped and a fantastic place for the children, not to mention the charming village...

  • We had a great time at Alessandro's apartment. It's a super place to stay: cosy, clean, very well equipped and located in a nice village (the only thing that could have made our stay even better would have been a nice balcony or garden, then again: inside you can sit in front of a big window with an absolute stunning view and there's sunshine in the afternoon plus there are beaches nearby). The village has all you need, a couple of cafe's (with wifi), restaurants and supermarkets. Alessandro's had sent us a list with lots of things to do, places to eat, etc which was very helpful. We would certainly recommend this apartment that is located in one of the most beautiful places on Sardiny!

  • Alessandro's Holiday Home in Goloritze is wonderful. The view is beautiful! It's kitchen is better equipped than my own at home! The bathroom has band aids! My daughter loved the bunk beds! It has a nice television with cable....not that you'll have too much time to waste on TV! The location was ideal for us. Very close to awesome hiking and gorgeous beaches. Several times the grandmother next door greeted us with a hand full of freshly picked grapes. We followed several of Alessandro's recommendations for beaches and restaurants. They were fantastic and they made our experience truly unique and memorable.

  • Casa comoda, e arredatissima. Posizione strategica per raggiungere le incantevoli spiaggie come Cala Goloritzè, e Cala Mariolu. Host super disponibile e gentile. Ottima esperienza :-) !

  • I can not recommend this accommodation enough. The village is absolutely beautiful, set in the middle of the mountains and a short drive to the beach! The village was an authentic Sardinian village not too touristic but with a few lovely restaurants. I particularly would like to recommend a restaurant called Pedra Longa which is located just outside the village with breathtaking views across the ocean in a lovely secluded spot.

A neighbour and friend of Alessandro was acting as our host for this stay and she was extremely welcoming. She bought us home made pastries and invited us in for typical sardinian drinks on the last night of our stay.

This was a very special holiday and i plan to go back!
