  • Best AirBnB experience ever! Joe and Marcin went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their apartment is beautiful and clean! Great part of town, easy access to city centre but also a nice and quiet escape.

  • Marcin and Joe are really great hosts and we had a very comfortable stay in their apartment. Having stayed in many airbnb homes before, we rate this place very highly and can definitely recommend it. The location is close to Phoenix Park (great if you love walks and running) and convenient to get to town by bus. The room is warm, spacious and perfect for what we need. The private bathroom is an added bonus for us. Marcin and Joe also provided breakfast for us every morning and we enjoyed their company over dinner one night. They are genuine and funny and made our time in Dublin very enjoyable despite the rainy weather!

  • Joe and Marcin were wonderful hosts! They were more than helpful with directions and tips on how to get around the city. The space was tidy and we were made to feel right at home. Would recommend staying with them if you ever get the chance!

  • Our stay in the apartment was absolutely awesome. We enjoyed our time in Dublin really much. Joe was very attentive. We had great evenings with hours of conversations and some wine or baileys or a whiskey. Joe was very hospitable and was also there for every question and every kind of advice. On saturday he even took us to the city by car and made a nice little tour with us. He showed us some interesting places and gave us a lot of background information. The bedroom and the bathroom were very tidy and absolutely appropriate. The breakfast was very good. We were free to take everything we could find. Joe even made some fresh bread - it was delicious. If we go to Dublin another time we will be sure to stay with Joe again. And as well he is always welcome if he comes to Cologne.
Thank you for the great time, Joe!

  • Had a great stay with marcin and joe, they were very accommodating, welcoming and hospitable. The apartment is clean, large and airy with all facilities you need and of course the fresh bread!. if anything to be added i would of liked a tv in the bedroom for those that do come back early and want to watch a bit of tv and the main lounge was busy. It was great to chat with them and put the world to rights. The location s perfect for us as its right by family for us to visit, Dublin is only a short ride away and the apartment complex is lovely and even has a shop. The area is great to experience local irish life ie phoenix park and local pubs such as the halfway house and the hole in the wall. We were out and about quite a lot as family had a lot planned for us and we were over for a family celebration, but when we were in marcin and joe were very welcoming and chatty. We would definately book again and would recommend to our own friends to book as well. Hopefully we will keep in touch as well and if joe and marcin ever fancy a trip to manchester they are more than welcome to stay with us. Cheers amanda and harry x

  • I had a wonderful stay with Marchin&joe in Dublin. The room the offer with a private bathroom is better as most of the 4+ star hotels. This needs to be said. But what is that incredible added value of most Airbnb hosts is friendliness and that new open spirit of the young and "young at hart" generation. Marcin&Joe have it all in abundance! Exceptional welcome with a dinner when I arrived, prepared by their girlfriend Agnieszka, lots of useful information about Dublin from both of them, knowledgeable conversations on economy, real-estate markets and everyday life. They are easy going but full of energy, broad minded and so open to the new. Great! Guys have fun and stay as you are.

    Best,

  • Our first trip to Ireland was to run the Dublin marathon. We found AirBnB about a month before and thought it sounded like a great way to meet people and learn about the city. Joe and Marcin were wonderful to stay with. They could not have been friendlier and gave us some great advice about where to go and the best way to get there.

Their place is a little north of the city, but only a short bus ride away. It was very cozy, clean and quiet and they made us feel right at home.

If you're taking a trip to Dublin, grab a room with Joe and Marcin.

About
We are two very easy going professional guys living and working in Dublin. Marcin - mid twenties, Polish, living in Dublin for over five years now. Fluent in Polish and English, with an understanding of Russian. Love theatre, movies, travel, music. Joe - late thirties, Irish, have lived in a few different places around Ireland and abroad but living in Dublin full-time now for a number of years. Fluent in English only, I'm afraid, but have a good knowledge of Gaelic (used to be fluent, but no longer) and have basic French. Also trying to learn Polish but with only limited success. Love theatre, movies, travel, music (all sorts), snowboarding. We love to travel and between us we have been to many places over the years, including the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Switzerland and New York. We joined Airbnb in Spring 2012 on a trial basis but fell in love with the whole experience. We have hosted some really great guests and want to continue this great experience. We can accommodate either single visitors or couples so check out our place if you are interested in spending time in Dublin. The photo of us with the parrots was taken when we were on holidays. We have no pets. Just thought we would put that in as many people have wondered if we have parrots or other pets. Hope to chat and meet with you soon. Marcin & Joe.
