  • Heather was very friendly and accommodating for my stay. I was only able to stay for one night, but will definitely book with her again next time I am in town!

  • Such a great stay with Heather, amazing person and stories she shared during my stay. I was there for Ironman Canada and it was the perfect place to stay leading up to raceday! I appreciated her hospitality and warm home. The Blueberry muffins and the scrambled eggs were amazing! I was able to enjoy my entire stay to the fullest because of Heather, her knowledge of the surrounding area, and the stories we shared are something I will never forget! Best wishes until next time, I will defintiely be back!

  • Heather was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I did not stay long but it was very pleasant. I would definitely stay with her again and would recommend her to any single travellers looking for a place to stay in Summerland.

  • Heather was very welcoming and accommodating. Her house is located on a quite street with lots of available parking. A great cup of tea and conversation was enjoyed into the night. I would highly recommend her house.

  • I stayed with Heather for two nights in November and I very much enjoyed my stay. Heather's home is clean and welcoming, so you can relax as soon as you walk through the door. Heather was also kind enough to show me around town, as well as sharing some of her knowledge of the area with me over a pot of tea. I was travelling by myself through Canada, and Heather was a welcome host. I would stay here again if I come back to Summerland.

  • Heather is a really warm-hearted and nice person. Her house and the furnishing are delightful and you directly recognise that she is an Artist.

We enjoyed our first stay with airbnb very much!

  • Me and a friend of mine stayed at Heather's for two nights during our trip through B.C. It was a very charming atmosphere and we felt very welcome. She had lots of tipps for us what we could do spending our time in the cities around Summerland and we had some interesting chats with her during our stay.
We really recommend a stay there!

  • Well, I would say that Heather is one of the best host that I have met with. She is very polite and willing to help. The room is really comfortable and well ventilated.
I would definitely recommend her place for anyone going to summerland. :)

  • We had a wonderful time in Summerland. Heather was a fantastic host and I wouldn't be shy to recommend her to anyone planning to say in the area. Knowing that we wanted to go wine tasting, Healther put together information and found us brochures about the wine routes in the area. She was always happy to answer our questions and we especially appreciated her homemade blueberry muffins upon arrival! We felt very welcome in her home, which was clean, quiet and cozy!

I am educated and self-employed, an artist and a gardener, an eclectic reader (Spider Robinson to Wade Davis). I have one Siamese cat, raucous in her old age. An omnivore who appreciates good but simple food, good but inexpensive wines, I use local food when possible, and bake my own bread. I have a compost bin, and recycle everything possible. I listen to CBC, and appreciate music, a good turn of phrase, and have a sometimes weird sense of humour. I attend a life-drawing group every week. Occasionally I still play my guitar. Am not presently able to travel, but enjoy tales and photos from those who do.
