I was raised in this beautiful city so please ask for any suggestions or directions.

THE GUEST BEDROOM (private) has a full size bed, closet & drawer space; two side tables and speakers for your use. If there is a third guest I have a queen size air mattress that you can use and there is still plenty of space to move around in this large room. There is a small chair and table that is under a window that gives natural sunlight. There also your own ironing board and iron in the closet. This room is used a dance practice when no one is here so feel free to use the mirrors or I can cover them up as well.

  • Pamelaaaaaa :-))) She is the black sista I was always looking for! It was my first airbnb experience, stayed 7 weeks and I have to say: Pamela is a benchmark as a host for everyone else who I will meet by airbnb. I could talk to her when I needed it or we worked silently on our computers like in the Pain Quotidien, having some coffee and sweeties. She invited me to see the superbowl in a normal american family, showed me some hot moves with her hoops - oh yeah she is really a professional hoola hoop dancer - and she ate bravely everything I cooked in the kitchen. Pamela is an open minded person because of her traveling experience and has got a strong personality which was very appealing sharing time together. She introduced me to a lot of things I had no idea of. I learned more from her than at work. Because of some trouble at work she was an important partner to talk to, so my time with her outside of work was very positive and one of my best memories about L.A. I appreciate that she presented also her family to me as I am a part of it. Oh and we laughed so much. I like her humor, man, we laughed so much! The only sad thing: Her first fish died and we had a very special funeral :-P
(Oh you want to know something about the apartment? Spacious + your own bathroom in the center of Culver City - hello? Any questions? If you haven't been to L.A. before than you don't understand that this is a pretty good standard and a perfect match to reach out into that crazy wide city. The neighborhood was so friendly. Almost everybody said "Hello" when I was running in the morning. Oh and yes, the Bagel Factory at the corner has got very good outmeal cookies. The girls love it when you talk in spanish to them. Parking situation is also ok.)

I fully recommend Pamela as an airbnb host.
Take care Pamela and you know that there's always a space for you at my home, like in my heart.

  • Pamela's place is great! The bedroom is really very spacious, and the entire apartment is super clean. I did not get to meet Pamela but she always responded quickly and answered all of my questions.

  • Pamela is a great host and is extremely friendly. Her place is clean and spacious. Wherever you want to go is just a short drive as well. It couldn't have been any better. Thanks again!

  • Pamela is very nice, engaging and gracious. Her apartment is in a very safe area. The location is great. The room was booked for 2 weeks for our daughter while she started a job and looked for an apartment, and this suited her needs very well. Wi-fi works well, and there is ample street parking. Clean linens were supplied, as well as toiletries, if needed. I think it is reasonable to remove your shoes at the doorway, but a chair to sit on while removing your boots would have been appreciated.

The bedroom had ample closet space, as well as wire drawers for any items you need to store. The mirrored wall may be a little uncomfortable for some. The only disappointing aspect was the condition of the bathroom. I know that it is older, and the cabinets are falling apart, but those are just cosmetic issues. Honestly, the bathroom needs a deep cleaning. The caulk around the sink, and around the interior and exterior of the shower is black with mold, with built-up grime around the outside of the shower. There is an inch of black moldy caulk around the sink faucet. I think these areas may have been wiped down, but it is off-putting and we were uncomfortable walking barefoot in the bathroom.

I hope that Pamela can resolve the cleanliness of the bathroom, because I think that she is a sincere, honest person who could be the ultimate host.

  • This is a very easy review to write. Pamela is a wonderful individual. Her place is as described. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The bathroom has a nice shower stall and plenty on counter space. She has a drawer of soaps and shampoos/conditioners (quality hotel toiletries ). The kitchen is well stocked and you're given plenty of cabinetry and fridge space. The living room is spacious and comfortable. An easy place to relax after a day of LA.
Pamela is such a warm , pleasant soul. She gives you plenty of space, but is also there for you. And if you have the time, let her give you a hula hoop lesson. It's what she does professionally. I, at 54 y/o, was able to hula hoop for the first time.
The location is two blocks from bus routes, ( also a great bagel shop) which let's you travel to anywhere in LA.
We strongly recommend considering stay at Pamela's !

  • Pamela is a wonderful hostess with a listing that is exactly as advertised. Her place is clean, comfortable, and most importantly centrally located in Los Angeles. I plan on staying at her listing again and I believe that she is the reason why a website like Airbnb thrives!

    Many, many thanks Pamela!

  • Excellent host. She went over and beyond hospitality helping as I have a handicap from an accident. That even made me more respectful of her as people sometimes will not be patient with you. Thank you Pamela.

About
Let's start things off by saying I'm a professional hula hooper....in case the question "why do you have so many hoops" comes about. I am in and out of town and when Im not eating Mexican food, sushi or traveling......I'm sleeping. Once the battery is recharged I love to mingle at dinner parties, hang out at lounges and take in the scenery. I am big on music, culture......and hosting you!
