Le logement de George était vraiment extra. IL correspondait précisément à ce qui était (website hidden)ès propre, très spacieux et tout le confort que l'on peu apprécier quand on est à l'étranger. En bref, parfait!
George's studio was really great. It corresponded exactely to the description on the website. Very clean, wide and with all the comfort one can appreciate when traveling abroad. In a word, perfect!
appartement situé dans un quartier calme et agréable avec bus très proche..
George's apartment was like what he described, and getting in and figuring out the apt was easy with the detailed instructions that George gave. George was also very responsive whenever we had any questions. Parking is a bit difficult to find if you return late at night but we always managed to find one even if it is a few blocks away. Overall, I'll recommend George's apartment to anybody considering to rent a apt in central San Fran!
My sister and I staid at George's apartment for few nights. It was very clean, cute and cozy. The situation was perfect, close to Haight street and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The bus stop is right on the corner which is really convenient. George was a great host, helpful and available. I would definitely recommend George's apartment for anyone who wants to stay in San Francisco.
George's Elegant Victorian Studio apartment was just how I imagined it. It was very clean and well cared for. Self check in allowed me to come and go as I pleased. I would highly recommend George's BB to anyone staying in the Bay Area. Its conveniently located, walking distance to Haight Street and Golden Gate park. There is a corner store and coffee shop on the same block. George obviously takes a lot of pride in his rental property.
george was very helpful and responded very quickly. great apartment and we adored the location. great trip!
We stayed a few nights at Georges place which was absolutely clean and cozy. Location is perfect, very easy to get everywhere, we spent the days out of the house and were happy to be able to sleep good at night.
On just one of the nights it was hard to find a parking place , but there is a public parking nearby if you pay for it.
Thanks for everything
The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. Thankfully the outdoor light was left on for us, as we had arrived after dark. The list of instructions for entering this apartment was concisely written, but I can see it being a bit difficult for some tired travelers with a lock box and two different keys to enter the apartment. It was easy for us.
I slept on the fold out couch, and it was plenty comfortable for this typical-style fold out couch. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it seemed all in order. The tap water tasted great, which is normal for SF city water.
The only central heating vent in this apartment is located in the bathroom, which makes for a nice and toasty bathroom experience. However, do not forget to leave the bathroom door open as the rest of the apartment is heated via this vent. We saw a space heater in the closet, but didn't need to use it as the temperature that was set somewhere outside of the unit at 68F/20C. I come from Indonesia, my brother from Belgium and we were both very comfortable at this fixed temperature.
Parking is difficult in this neighborhood, like nearly every neighborhood in SF. We double parked without problem when loading and unloading, and would spend about 20mins looking for a parking spot that was always a short walk away from the apartment.
The WiFi speed was 1Mbps up, 3Mbps down and the signal was better in certain areas of the apartment.
We kept our bikes, surfboards, etc in the secure backyard, and had access to a hose for rinsing.
We didn't need to bother the owner during our stay, but he has been very responsive with previous contact. We had asked for a place to leave our things on the day we checked out while we go around the city, as the apartment has a STRICT 11AM check out. The owner offered us space in the secure garage and way to collect our things, though we didn't end up needing to do this.
Overall, I recommend this place and will consider this apartment for future SF visits.
George's place was brilliant, it was very well looked after, it was in a great location. George was also very helpful in answering all of our questions, he also was quick to assist us when required over phone calls and text.
The apartment was in a great location, cute, and very clean. If it wasn't so cold I would have liked to little enjoy the patio outside. I definitely recommend George's place!
