We had a great stay at George's apartment studio. Everything was very clean and absolutly as shown in the pictures here. The apartment is very well located - there are several bus stops next to the apartment but you can also walk to Alamo Square, Hayes Street, Haight Ashbury and lots of hip restaurants at Divisadero Street. George was very helpful, gave us all necessary informations and was always reachable if needed. I would highly recommend this apartment and stay here anytime again.
George is incredibly easy to deal with, he responds to questions quickly, he's friendly and his instructions regarding the apartment are very clear. After making sure we were comfortable and knew how everything worked, George left us to ourselves and we didn't really see him again for our entire stay, but we knew we could easily contact him with questions if we needed to.
The apartment is great, you have your own private entrance and you don't have to go through the main portion of the house to reach the apartment, which we found really convenient. The apartment is very clean and has a tv, microwave, fridge and a coffee maker and there is even a private courtyard where you can sit outside and relax. My wife stayed a few days on her own after I had left and felt very secure returning to the apartment at night. The surrounding area felt safe and the approach to the apartment was well lit and secure.
The apartment is very quiet, but is conveniently located close to a couple of bus stops, which makes getting around very easy. The park is one block away and Divisadero Street, with its great bars and restaurants, is also within easy walking distance.
Staying in George's apartment was pretty much a perfect AirBnB experience. We'd definitely stay there again if we came back to San Francisco.
George was very accommodating and a great host. The studio was clean, quiet and in a great location. We loved it!
Apartment very well located, welcoming all very well. A little small for four people.
George left easy directions on how to enter the property. Free street parking was easy to find. Once inside our two girls, my husband and me loved the spacious and well decorated apartment.
Spent a few days here for our first family visit to SF. Apartment was ideal: central but peaceful, well stocked, close to public transport, and clean. Did all of the sites easily, almost all using SF's excellent public transport network. George was welcoming and focussed on making sure we had everything we needed. Recommended. Would stay here again if we're lucky enough to get back to SF.
About the Host, George
Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my listing!
I'm a native San Franciscan who loves working on Victorians. I've lived in the Alamo Square/Pan Handle area since 1995. I know much about the city and enjoy passing that information on to visiting guest.
My hobbies include traveling, boating, working on my house and eating at fine restaurants.
Please feel free to contact me anytime on questions you may have either about my place or things to do and places to go in San Francisco.
