About this listing
Thank you for giving us the chance to take care of you and make you feel like home!! We hope you enjoy our cute and cozy little flat, that is close to the center - yet not in it - so you may have the opportunity to live like a local!
The description you will read bellow is based on our dear guests’ feedback, in order to be more thorough and precise. So, as we’ve been told over and over again, our sweet little flat is amazingly cute and cozy, well equipped, warm, bright, unconventional but nicely decorated and very welcoming! It is mostly suitable for couples since it consists of a bedroom, a bathroom, a small but functional kitchen and a lounge. However, noise could be a catch, since we are close to a street with constant traffic, and sometimes our neighbors make noise, which could be unsettling for light sleepers. Plus, right in front of our building there is no light, so it’s very dark at night. Safe, but dark.
Life is all about details, so we like to pay attention to every detail we can think of, so that you can relax and focus on your part of the equation, which is enjoying your trip and having fun! We sure appreciate and value your input, so please let us know if you have any ideas on how to improve ourselves and get better and better.
Interaction with guests
Once you arrive I like to be there and welcome you as old friends and make you feel safe and comfortable, like home. That's why I am doing everything I can to accommodate you, be flexible and understanding. I tend to provide you with as much information would make you confident but wouldn’t spoil all the fun of exploring the city and creating your very own wonderful experiences!
I hope this isn’t too much.
You will most probably be tired, but I give you the keys and a tour around the house, and then explain through the maps how to get around the city. So, even though you might feel confused or overwhelmed, no worries, in this mini orientation session, will answer all your questions. After that and within a few rides you will be expert on using the metro lines and navigating the city!
Our neighborhood is a nice residential/ urban area, which means central and lively one the one side, yet local and not very touristy on the other. . There are many stores like groceries, bakeries, mini markets, fast food options, etc. Plus, there is a very beautiful park very close with nice restaurants with live music and pubs that you should definitely visit.
Buses and trolleys headed to the center run often and the stop is right down the corner. Buses no '622' or Trolleys (the yellow buses with the wire) no '2' or '4' are the most convenient for you. because the will get you to 'Syntagma' squ. or 'Acropolis' 2 stops later. Tickets cost 1.4€/ride, 4€/day, or 10€/5days and once you validate it you may use it for all means (metro, bus, trolley and tram).
However, for those of you who don’t want like public transit, taxis are plentiful and a very affortable solution. The ride downtown should cost a little over 5€.
Other things to note
The doorbell is under our surname 'Palamourdas'.
The flat is a little above the ground floor, so there are a few stairs to climb up.
• Do not throw papers in the toilet; instead, use the bin next to it.
• Respect the quiet hours.
• Please, do not smoke inside the apartment.

Trips had always a special place in my heart; there's nothing like traveling the world and getting to know different cultures and mentalities. This is amazing!
That is kind of the reason why I like hosting people. Because, I get a chance to make their staying as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so that they can focus on sightseeing, having fun, relaxing or whatever is the purpose of their trip.
In my spare time I love exercising, hanging out with my friends, watching movies and reading inspirational books. One of my favorite quotes is:
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery but today is a gift. That's why they call it PRESENT..."
PS: If you are looking for a house in Greece, or if you would like to buy a property of any kind, maybe we could be of assistance to you.
