An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

The space
Upon entering you are treated to the huge map of the world as you look up in the 13' vaulted entryway. A small window seat area with a small collection of old books to explore! The wrap around deck with gas grill provides a laid back environment to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding forest! The 2nd floor bedroom includes 10' vaulted ceiling which provides plenty of Windows for 360 degree views of the forest from the comfort of the queen sized bed, step out on the balcony which features a whimsical "outhouse" with year round compost toilet and a outdoor hot water shower nearly 30' off the ground! (Dec 1st - Apr 1st the water may be shut off due to cold weather). I’m also pet friendly but charge a pet fee, ask for more details.

I’m a pet friendly lodging but do charge a $30 pet fee for one pet, or $25 per pet if more than one.
