SORAYPAMPA HOSTEL, located in Soraypampa 40 minutes from the Humantay Lagoon, for those who do the Salkantay hike on their own or visit the Humantay Lagoon with time and tranquility, and want to enjoy nature, the mountains, rivers and snow-capped mountains.

Our cabins are made of DOMO type wood with transparent roof, they are built with pure wood, we are very respectful with the environment since all our facilities work with solar panels and biodigesters.

We are located at the very intersection of the road to the Humantay Lagoon and the Salkantay Trek trail. We are the closest cabin to the Humantay Lagoon, the path is clear and wide, there is no way to get lost.

If what you like is a natural space, free and fresh air, our cabin is perfect for you, we are surrounded by snow-capped mountains, rivers and mountains, when you wake up you can appreciate the indomitable Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains in all their magnitude.

We can help you with a shared mobility or a private mobility from Cusco to Soraypampa and from Soraypampa to Cusco.
We offer a la carte meals as lunch options, as well as sandwiches.
If you are doing the Salkantay trek, on day 2 we can provide you with a packed lunch or sandwich, as it will be the longest day and you will not find many food options on the route.
If you would like to rent horses for the Humantay Lake or Salkantay Pass, let us know and we will help you.
Light is available in each room until 8:00 pm, as the energy is based on solar panels.
You should arrive in Soraypampa before 5 pm as there is no street lighting in Soraypampa. From Cusco to Soraypampa is 3 hours by car.
If you are coming by rented transport to Soraypampa, let us know and we can arrange transport to take you as close to the lodge as possible. Generally a private vehicle for 1 to 4 people charges approximately 400 soles for the Cusco - Soraypampa trip (3 hours).
If you wish, you can also get to Soraypampa by shared tourist transport, which leaves every day between 4:30 am and 5:00 am, and charges approximately 80 soles per person. In the same way and for the same amount you can return the next day between 1:00 pm.
It is possible that there is some noise in the lodge, due to the passage of horses and other camps.

Soraypampa is located at 3900 meters above sea level, so a minimum acclimatization period of two days is necessary in Cusco.

Our cabins are located in Soray (Soraypampa), it is a 40-minute walk from the HUmantay Lagoon and three hours from Paso Salkantay, it is also perfect for those travelers who take the Salkantay hike to Machupicchu, the first night you can stay overnight with us and then continue your trip.
