Kick back in our central 3 bed Classic Victorian Terrace. Kerbside appeal, a great neighbourhood, and ideally located for hopping all over town by bus or tube. Enjoy open plan living, Brixton Village's hip dining spots or a soak in hotel bathrooms.

The Space

A delightfully light and airy classic London town house in Zone 2 with great transport links, heaps of charm and privacy in the buzzing and trendy Brixton area. (See guidebook link for area info). Rooms are £56 night for single/double occupancy. All bedrooms are on their own level, secluded and private, supplied with fresh crisp bed linens and clean towels and plenty of built in storage. Free tea, coffee, juice, toast and cereal each morning OR a full english breakfast is available at an additional cost of £6. Our SERENE ROOM is our biggest room with a deluxe memory foam kingsize bed and a touch of romance to it being tucked away on it's on floor in the former attic. It's more like a suite with a chaise lounge sofa and as well as the kingsize bed. There is enough space for 2 single beds making it ideal for families of upto 4 on request), it's just along the corridor from bathroom 2.

Up to 3 rooms available each with own flat screen DVD TV (ZEN,, BLUE or SERENE rooms all listed seperately) OR have the entire house that sleeps 4-12 people from £245/night #206353.

Brixton Village has a great artisan market with fresh quirky restaurants and vintage clothing and craft shops, an independant cinema, coffee shops and a big department store in it's centre. It's residential streets are beautiful leafy rows of terraced houses with convenience stores on every corner. Enjoy the best of both world being in a vibrant local neighbourhood yet close to London's centre - just 10-15mins away by tube or train and with lots of buses past all major sights.

A true urban oasis and boltholt in bustling London Town. This period Victorian house has 2 jaccuzi bath tub, 2 showers heated marble floors. A modern, open plan living/kitchen/dining area that comes with a vintage feel but all the mod cons: flat screen digital HDTV, cable, dvd player, ipod dock, wireless broadband, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine. Fully serviced by a weekly cleaner included in the price, well maintained with great guide books & what to do suggestions. We are a popular listing as our reviews show located (email hidden) neighbourhood that is not a central tourist trap. An accomodation in London popular with couples on romantic city breaks, families looking for a family vacation home, tourists coming for sightseeing, locals wanting a fun night together, wedding parties, hen parties and bachelorette parties, people on business trips, as a base to explore Oxford, Stone Henge, and other English places of interest, all sorts really. We try to cater to your needs and are open and approachable with a respect for people's privacy.

The location is ideal for fast commuting to any part of the city on any mode of public transport. Brixton Tube has fast tubes into Victoria in 4 stations / 12mins OR Oxford Circus in 6 stations / 15mins. There are 4 overground train stations to all parts of London and beyond all less than a mile from the flat (Connex/Thameslink/Southern/SouthEast lines). There are also numerous buses to all parts of London from our front door going to ALL major sights on a single bus ride (London Eye, Big ben, Westminister Abbey, Downing St, Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Covent Garden, Oxford/Regent /Carnaby Street, Marble Arch, Hyde Park).

I have opened my own home to visitors for 6 years, and for 20 years at my family home which is seconds away, so hosting is in my blood. We understand how important it is to have a sense of your own space to relax in and a home away from home and our place is just that. We are a friendly young couple with a great sense of adventure, we enjoy discovering new things and places in London daily. Being a creative chef at #MEATliquor and interior designer we like to stay creative and tuned in to all the city has to offer and we love finding inspiration in new places, be they restaurants, vintage or design shops or underground events. We invite you to make yourself at home and ask us for any advice or anything that you need to get the most out of your trip.

Guest Access

Living room, full kitchen, washing machine, wifi, the entire place is dedicated to airbnb guests and there is a huge picnic park with playground right outside.

Interaction with Guests

We stay in the apartment next door so we are on hand when you need us and can give you space when you just want to relax in your own company. You basically have free run of the place. We will greet you and pop up to see how your day was and are right there if you need any tour guide info!

The Neighborhood

We love our neighbourhood which has a real local feel. Vibrant and dynamic, friendly and hip. Brixton Village is the hang out spot that Londoners flock too and tourists are cottoning on fast too! With vintage shops, market stalls, cake shops and small restaurants and boutique bars its adorably charming!

Getting around

Free street parking outside, this is gold dust! Super convenient fast tube getting you to Victoria in 12mins or Oxford Circus in 15mins. We also have 8 bus lines to ever sight and attraction possible literally at the end of the street. Also between 3 train lines and loads to do locally on foot

Other Things to Note

London is big, thankfully with the tube and transport network nothing is more then a jump on a bus or tube away (rush hour on affects road travel mostly). It is best discovered on foot with a travelcard over driving. The pavements are hard so pack some comfy (website hidden) is divided into 6 concentric zones with zone1 being the heart of town with more historic sights then residential places and zone 6 being suburbia. We are in zone 2 which is highly central by the London standard.

  • My friend and I stayed in the Serene room for 2 nights recently and we loved the place! The flat is well located for all the amenities of Brixton, including the village and Brixton Academy (a short bus ride away). The room was spacious, bright and warm, the bathroom well equipped with a great shower and the communal areas were beautiful, filled with quirky vintage finds from far and wide. We really felt like it was home during our short stay and a bonus was the fee parking. Miranda was friendly, welcoming and informative and we'll definitely be staying again in the near future!

  • Miranda was a kind and thoughtful host, always friendly and inviting. She was incredibly helpful when it came to sightseeing suggestions and transportation. If ever I had any questions, Miranda was always available and happy to chat! The airbnb is a beautiful Victorian style home with streaming sunlight and spacious, beautiful styled rooms. Miranda's beautiful home was a welcome sight at the end of each action packed day! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathroom that was at the end of our hall on the top floor was spa-like. In fact, every part of Miranda's home was well thought out, tasteful, and gorgeous. I would recommend to anyone!

  • I didn't meet Miranda herself but we've been kept in touch and she seems very friendly. Her house is very beautiful and our stay in Brixton was great.

  • We had a lovely stay at Miranda's beautiful house. It was my first time visiting london so we were out most of the time but loved coming back to such comfortable and cosy accommodation. Although we didn't see much of Miranda the prompt e-mail replies prior to arrival and the warm welcome we received made us feel very much at home. If your a foodie the location of the house is ideal - with Brixton village so close we enjoyed some amazing meals. There is a really good atmosphere down there at the weekend. Thanks again xx

  • Miranda's place was perfect for us. We were overnighting in Brixton so we could get to a Pogues concert, and so were just really in and out, but the room and living space were great. Very quiet, beautiful baths, cool decor.
Didn't get to actually meet Miranda, sadly. Her email communication was detailed though, and really friendly.
    Thanks loads, Miranda!

  • We stayed in this lovely room for a few days as we were in London for a training. Though it was an hours commute to where we were supposed to be (lots of busses and tubes around though) it was great coming back 'home' to this beautiful house. Amazing design, lots of vintage and the most wonderful bathrooms! The Brixton area is nice and funky and we had a lot of fun on the market and pubs.
    Thanks Miranda for the hospitality!

  • Nice room, comfy bed, miranda and her husband very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Being able to use the kitchen was great and I was able to laze around in living room watching a film. Lovely and and informal. Really appreciated being able to be 'flexible' about check out time so didn't have to lug our bags around London next day. Also loved jacuzzi bath. It all worked out just right.

  • Miranda's place was very beautiful and had quite a bit to offer: fully equipped kitchen, tv, lounge, etc. My boyfriend and I happened to have the whole place to ourselves and we had a nice time there. Miranda also let us keep our bags there after checking out.
Easy to get to using the tube.
Thanks Miranda, we had a great time!

Hi I am Miranda - A life long Londoner with a flair for travel, food and architecture. I enjoy interiors, it's also what I do for my work and I hope it is reflected in my home. Myself, my husband, and my little newborn have been enjoying sharing our home and hosting for nearly a year and have metmsome lovely people. We invite you to enjoy the comfort and beautiful tranquility of our sunny, spacious 3 double, 2 bathroomed town house to kick back and relax in as if it were you're own home away from home. It can be rented room for room or you can have the entire place. The house looks over a great communal park so plenty of outside space too, it even has a playground for kids as well. I'd love to help you get the most out of your visit to this great capital city that I live in, know and love. My husband and I have a lot of quirky guide books on the bookshelf and maps for you to use, lots of local knowledge of markets, eateries and fun places to visit. We are a relaxed laid back, respectful couple with a little mild mannered little new born called Mila. We have opened our home as a family vacation home, a lodge house, a bed and breakfast, a launch pad to explore and sightsee in London, and for the Olympics. It even works for hen parties and bachelorette parties, for the wedding group to get ready in and even as the wedding couple's honeymoon suite. How would you like to use it? We look forward to hearing from you. "All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them" - Galileo
