My Place is a downstairs apartment in my home conveniently located right off Rt. 36, and centrally located 18 miles from Norton and 23 miles from Prairie Dog State Park. Phillipsburg is 15 miles, and past that is Kirwin Wildlife Refuge The beds have gel infused memory foam mattress toppers, LR has a 32" TV w/Amazon Prime, bathroom includes grooming essentials, kitchenette includes coffee, tea, sugar, milk. Free use of washer/dryer, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and USB charging station.
The space
You will have your own private entrance and key to your 500+ sq ft downstairs apartment. It is very well lit with ceiling daylight fixtures, various types of lights, nightlights and windows. It has commercial carpeting throughout, a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator/freezer, 2 ceramic burner stove top, commercial microwave, pizza oven/broiler, coffee maker, electric heat and for supplemental heat in the kitchenette, an infrared space heater/ionic air cleaner/humidifier. All kitchenware is provided. The bathroom features a sliding obscure glass corner shower with an adjustable massage shower head that is fully equipped with hygiene products. We have a whole house Culligan Water Filter, Hard Water Bullet and PUR Filter Faucet system installed in the laundry room. The living room has a futon, desk, 32" Vizio TV with Firetv stick and Alexa voice remote control, Amazon Prime and YouTube Premium, a pull up coffee table that converts into a dining table or desk, table and chairs, free coffee, tea and on a good day fresh baked breakfast treats, wifi and a charging station for your phones and electronics. The bedroom has twin beds that can also be converted into a king sized bed, a dresser, tables, chairs, and a large 2 door closet with built-in storage and a 3 way mirror.
You won't have to worry about germs or viruses at My Place. All surfaces are meticulously cleaned and disinfected prior to each stay, plus it's equipped with an ionic air cleaner that clears the air of airborne pollen, mold spores, bacteria and viruses.

Other things to note
I have an 9 year old neutered male Pomeranian and a 3 year old female Pekingese and 2 chickens in an enclosed fence out back. My Pomeranian is not friendly with most strangers. Please don't approach him unless I am present.
If you have a pet dog you need to bring with you, your dog must be crated for the night inside or outside. If you don't have a crate, I have a large indoor canvas dog house that has screened windows and doors then I can provide for you. Also your dog must be on a leash when taken outside
There is no air conditioning in the apartment but no worries, it stays so cool on the hottest summer nights you might still want to turn the heat on! There is also a portable dehumidifier and table fan available for additional comfort if needed.

The neighborhood is a small and quiet community of about 100 residents. It is surrounded by open fields and the streets are well lit. It has a public library, a post office, an auto repair shop/gas station and a Community Center with an adjacent park equipped with covered picnic tables and a playground.

I'm a retired accountant that moved from Lancaster County, Pa in 2006 to start a new chapter in my life. Over the years I rehabbed 5 properties, which has been my passion. I'm a bit of a loner but I love meeting new people and serving them. After rehabbing my home here, it eventually became My Place.
Please disregard Tracy's review. After the 1st week she added a 3rd man, they left the apt a wreck. When I refused her group a 3rd week she got upset & left a bad review. She never stayed here.
