On checking out, please lock the apartment door and give the keys to the doorwoman on the ground floor (Monday to Friday, 9AM until 7PM). In other days/time, please drop them in the mailbox number 28 (to the right of the doorwoman's seat).
Rubbish: please collect separately: glass, plastic and tin, paper, all the rest. For short stays, you may just leave rubbish in the apartment and the maid will collect it. For longer stays, you should put it in the dedicated trash bins in the basement of the building (floor -1). Please ask the doorwoman to show them to you.
Staying in this apartment was perfect. Amazing location and nice apartment. Clean and convenient.
Giuseppe was nice to organize for picking up keys and reasonable. Responded well.
Actually, I broke the top glass of stove by the confusion of usage. When I noticed him about that, he treated very simple way because he had a Airbnb insurance. Only one down side was air conditioning was too low temperature (24ºC) for me especially at night and there is no way to change temp and the bed is expended futon.
Location great as right next to the Duomo and walking distance to all other major attractions and shopping districts - although, very quiet at night and no grocery stores nearby at all (which is a problem when you need to buy essentials such as shampoo, soap etc which is not provided). Arrived early and was allowed access into the apartment early which was very much appreciated. However, the host and I did not get off to a good start as he said that the wifi was not working and could not give me any sort of time frame to when it would be fixed. However, the wifi was in fact working so this became a non-issue. The host was responsive to any queries I had throughout my stay. Apartment was basic, clean and as per the photos. Overall, good for a couple of days.
This apartment's location absolutely cannot be beat, as it's literally around the corner from the Duomo and the subway stop!
I was met in the lobby by a lady from the cleaning service (never met Giuseppe), who gave me the key, showed me the apartment, and informed me of the check-out procedures.
I was only in the apartment overnight, so I didn't make use of the kitchen or laundry, but the apartment does seem to be fully equipped! The wi-fi worked fine, and the bed was comfortable.
The apartment itself looks just like the pictures, though slightly worse for wear (chipped paint, possible mold in the shower). The light-blocking shutters on the windows were much appreciated. Be aware, though, that the local bus line goes just past the apartment, and the noise from the buses can be heard in the apartment (despite being on the 6th floor), which can interfere with sleeping a little.
Overall, I'd certainly recommend the apartment to those looking for a central location.
Great location, very convenient and easy to get around the city. Appartment is clean and spacious.
I had a great experience at Giuseppe's apartment, it was exactly as described and the location could not have been better for my stay as a tourist. The air-conditioning and block out blinds were a big plus and I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Milan.
We advised our host we would be arriving at about 10pm and was advised someone would be there with the keys. We arrived at 9.45pm. No one there so we rang the supplied number and was told a friend would arrive soon with the keys. An hour later we were still waiting with all our luggage being bitten alive by mosquitoes on a very hot night. We text and rang again and about 11.15pm got through to the Concierge who was unbelievably rude. He berated us, lied about the time of our arrival and was so rude and utterly bombastic that we decided to forget our booking and check in to a hotel. As we were leaving around 11.45om the lovely Sri Lankan cleaner arrived with the apartment keys full of apologies. We were shown up to a very average but air conditioned apartment for our overnight stay. The owner of this apartment should change the Concierge if he wants to maintain any kind of hospitality towards his guests. A very unpleasant experience to greet us in Milan
I trust the company which cleans the apartment and takes care of check in when I am out of town. Nobody complained about them before.
They told me that this guest was very rude and impolite: she arrived earlier and began to complain with the owner of the cleaning company, calling many times and threatening to go to a hotel. He offered the guest to go to the restaurant (which is in the same building of the apartment) and offered to pay for the meal. There was no need to wait in the street: the building is not out in the woods: it is in the center of Milan. There are a restaurant, a patisserie and a bar in the same building, and more a few steps from it. There was a delay in the arrival of the cleaner with the keys, because her train was late. However, she arrived at 10.30pm (and not at 11:15). The unpleasant experience was for the owner of the cleaning company to talk to this woman.
Our stay at Giuseppe's apartment was wonderful! It really was just steps away from The Duomo so you can't beat the location. Giuseppe is a great host. He was easy to get in contact with and was quick to respond. The apartment was very clean and has great air conditioning (perfect for those hot summer months in Italy). Overall, we had a great stay here in Milan and hope to return soon!
