Hi my name is Tony. I am a single father and i have a beautiful 12 year old daughter that stays every second weekend. Our little dog Miley lives here too. Our bedrooms are on the other side of the house wich insures privacy and space for all. In between these private spaces exists an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.
'Eagles Perch', a piece of paradise is nestled up into a hill 7 minutes drive west of Coolum Beach in Yandina Creek (center of the Sunshine Coast). You will need your own car as there is no public transport. Set on one and a half acres and surrounded by Eucalyptus forrest, Kangaroos and boastful veiws to the ocean,
'Eagles Perch' is a true coastal getaway.
Spend days exploring Coolum's gorgeous bays, beaches, restaurants and night life... or simply sit back, enjoy a drink, and watch the stars and moon revolve. Everything you need is a close drive away, for instance, within 20 minutes drive you can reach the Noosa National Park, the Eumundi Markets, the Sunshine Coast Airport, shopping plazas, movies, ect. Woolworths supermarket is a five minute drive away.
My house is architecturally designed, it's open and contemporary in its feel. The house won first prize for sustainable and environmental design. Photos of the 180 degree panoramic veiws don't do them justice!
i have two lovely bedrooms available, each with sliding glass doors that open onto a deck that overlooks the coast to the ocean. A private bathroon services your accommodation and one or two bedroom options are available, sleeping four people comfortably in total. Basic breakfast ingredients, tea and coffee are provided for your convenience. Austar television is hooked up. There is no cable for home internet, but wireless mobile broadband coverage is exceptionally good.
So whether its total relaxation, or adventure that you crave, this place has it all!!
I look forward to meeting you and am sure your stay at 'Eagles Perch' is both relaxing and soul inspiring.
Tony was a welcoming, warm and relaxed host.
The house was amazing. It was peaceful, and just as the ad had described. His directions were clear, and the house is incredibly clearly and well laid-out.
Next time I'm north of Brisbane - no question I'll be there again. Thanks mate.
Tony was a really great host, and he had a really lovely house perched up in a beautiful spot. The experience, being our first with air b&b really surpassed expectations! Relaxing, scenic, and friendly, with use of the kitchen and the space outside the house, this place really was a great find.
Plus, tony has a gorgeous dog Miley that I'm sure every guest secretly wants to smuggle home. Or maybe that was just me...She and Tony made it a spot to remember. Plus it's a bargain. Put up your prices Tony!
We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary weekend at Eagles Perch. It was extremely peaceful, serene and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Although we generally find different locations each wedding anniversary, I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a getaway destination.
Great on all accounts from communication, to quality and hospitality. A great new house with sweeping views and a lovely host. We will visit again:)
We popped up to Queensland for a short family holiday. Eagles Perch is great place. Really nice views, short trip into town and very family friendly (my wife and I were travelling with our two year old daughter). Tony is a great host and made us feel very welcome - looking forward to another trip up there sometime soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tony"s place. Its centrally located near Coolum, short drive to all the lovely surrounding towns.
Eagle's Perch has magnificient views and is well laid out for privacy. As for a host, you could not ask for nicer guy than Tony.
Nice and quiet location. Tony was a lovely host and not too obtrusive. Place was clean and the dog super cute.
I stayed at Eagles Perch with two children under 10 for three nights. A great location for a number of reasons.
Tony is a friendly and hospitable host. His attention to detail e.g. labelling key drawers in the kitchen for easy access to frequently used kitchenware and providing basic breakfast ingredients make the stay so easy.
The house design is well suited to Airbnb guests. Having our 'own' wing helped us feel like we had our own little space when we needed to! Eating or relaxing outside and taking in the view was a highlight between trips to the beach. The family friendly, patrolled Coolum Beach is just a fifteen minutes drive - so you can feel enough distance from the heart of things but close enough to access the beach and dining options such as fish and chips and Thai.
Finally, a few more positives: Miley the dog was a wonderful, friendly dog for my kids to play with, the rooms/house were clean and tidy, beds were comfortable, ceiling fans were a bonus and being able to have the option of cooking in Tony's spacious kitchen all added a whirlwind but fantastic Airbnb stay.
I would definitely recommend Eagles Perch to anyone wanting to (re)discover Coolum or the surrounds in the near future!
loved our stay with tony! the house is beautiful, the area peaceful and a great location for any holidayer. felt at home straight away, really enjoyed tony's company and the flexibility of being able to go and come as we please. thanks tony!
We really enjoyed our stay with Tony in his lovely house. The situation was beautiful and Tony was very laid back and hospitable. We were made to feel as if we could use the house as our own during our stay.
