About This Listing
This is a view from the available bedrooms looking towards the open living area. The fire place has been moved away from the house 5 metres and this fire place is now a fish pond.
Hi my name is Tony. I am a single father and i have a beautiful 12 year old daughter that stays every second weekend. Our little dog Miley lives here too. Our bedrooms are on the other side of the house wich insures privacy and space for all. In between these private spaces exists an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.
'Eagles Perch', a piece of paradise is nestled up into a hill 7 minutes drive west of Coolum Beach in Yandina Creek (center of the Sunshine Coast). You will need your own car as there is no public transport. Set on one and a half acres and surrounded by Eucalyptus forrest, Kangaroos and boastful veiws to the ocean,
'Eagles Perch' is a true coastal getaway.
Spend days exploring Coolum's gorgeous bays, beaches, restaurants and night life... or simply sit back, enjoy a drink, and watch the stars and moon revolve. Everything you need is a close drive away, for instance, within 20 minutes drive you can reach the Noosa National Park, the Eumundi Markets, the Sunshine Coast Airport, shopping plazas, movies, ect. Woolworths supermarket is a five minute drive away.
My house is architecturally designed, it's open and contemporary in its feel. The house won first prize for sustainable and environmental design. Photos of the 180 degree panoramic veiws don't do them justice!
i have two lovely bedrooms available, each with sliding glass doors that open onto a deck that overlooks the coast to the ocean. A private bathroon services your accommodation and one or two bedroom options are available, sleeping four people comfortably in total. Basic breakfast ingredients, tea and coffee are provided for your convenience. Austar television is hooked up. There is no cable for home internet, but wireless mobile broadband coverage is exceptionally good.
So whether its total relaxation, or adventure that you crave, this place has it all!!
I look forward to meeting you and am sure your stay at 'Eagles Perch' is both relaxing and soul inspiring.
Please don't let my dog outside as she chases the kangaroos. She has her own fenced yard and doggie door to the house.Music is fine, just moderate the volume after 9pm.Please always use cutting boards to prepare food, and don't cut on the benchtops.Smoking is okay outside the main house.Basically, just display common courtesy and cleanliness please. Please remember this property is reliant on tank water so please keep showers to a 5 minute maximum.
Tony was waiting for us on the day or arrival and felt very welcome, the house is beautiful and tidy. We stayed two nights with our three children and they had a great time, drove to the coast both days which is not too far.
Tony was an extremely welcoming and a likeable guy, we enjoyed the conversations that were had. Tony basically left the whole house to ourselves which we were not expecting but we had full use of kitchen facilities etc which was a nice addition. The view was amazing. Given that it was having an unusual amount of rain etc during our stay, we were lucky enough to be surrounded by so much hinterland to look upon. There were even a couple of cute frogs, birds and a Kangaroo hopping about to entertain us. The room was private, had it's own bathroom facilities and also had a view of it's own. It was a short drive to the town and beach and many restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
We were delayed on the way to Coolum and Tony was very sweet and waited a long time for us. Little Miley (their dog) gave us a warm welcome and made sure we parked our car at the right place! Tony was away with friends during Christmas so we had the amazing place to ourselves. Kitchen is well equipped. Great views!
The view from Tony's place was perfect for watching sunrise and sunset. Getting to Coolum beach was really convenient as it was just a short 10-15 minutes drive. Tony was really warm and welcoming when we first met him. He gave us good tips of where to visit around the Sunshine coast. Thanks Tony for being such a great host during our short stay. We would definitely recommend Tony's place for anyone who is seeking a private and relaxed accommodation at the Sunshine coast.
Tony's beautiful house is the perfect spot if you want to relax in the hills of the Sunshine Coast, while being only a short ride away from the sea. We had a great stay there& had all that we needed & more including a well-travelled and nice host, who rendered the stay very easy & comfortable. There isn't more to add, just enjoyable & overall fantastic place.
Tony's beautiful house is set on top of a hill which makes you feel like you are the only people up here. Very nice and quiet location which has gorgeous views across to the Sunshine Coast.
Tony was a great chap and gave us his time as we've spent a good night talking over a beer and some food. Thanks Tony for recommending us the delicious Thai food!
Although informed in the property description to keep showers limited as the place runs on tank water, Tony was not scrooge at all and in fact allowed us a longer shower time.
Eagles' Perch is located very close to Coolum Beach so if you would like to have some sand and sun, it's just a few minutes' drive away. It's also close to the Ginger Factory in Yandina so it's a fab location to base yourself to take in the sights around here before continuing along the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommend staying with Tony and Miley, his ever adorable dog.
