About this listing
Longest-running, most-reviewed Airbnb rental in Laramie. My updated midcentury is five blocks to University of Wyoming east campus, two blocks to UW shuttle, half mile to Green Ride shuttle stop, and just over one mile to American Heritage Center.
*Please note: during the summer months (June-August), I only accept reservations for a minimum of five nights.*
On Laramie's east side, nestled between two parks, my three bedroom, one bath mid-century home is within walking distance to the university, restaurants, and a major grocery store. Enjoy easy access to I-80 and recreation at Happy Jack and Curt Gowdy. As an independent working professional, I will provide you plenty of privacy. Be sure to check out my guidebook for food, drink and recreation suggestions.
Please note that I have a dog - a young, exceptionally friendly female cattle dog mix who will wish to make friends with you. I generally do not accept travelers with pets (sorry! I know it's tough traveling with animals!) but in some cases I'll make an exception. Feel free to check with me if you're traveling with a buddy in tow.
Come visit us in the Laramie Valley, and experience one of the Rocky Mountain West's best kept secrets.
Amenities include: sunny renovated kitchen, street parking, internet, shared bathroom, a laundry room available for your use, an open concept living and dining area, and a family room with a fireplace and well-stocked library for cold Wyoming evenings.

I'm Laramie's "oldest" host and I really enjoy being a part of the Airbnb community, as both host and guest. I grew up in Wisconsin, and made Wyoming my home eight years ago. Here I am a professor in the School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. I love to travel, to spend time outdoors in our beautiful mountains, and I adore teaching.
