Minori is an enthralling small town near Amalfi. It is nestled on a narrow valley which stretches up to the sea, where it becomes a bay in a crescent-moon shape.
The town of Minori is enclosed by sea and rocky walls covered in green due to cultivations of lemon trees. The prevailing colors of such splendid panorama are the bright green of lemon orchards and the blue of the sky and the sea.
The sea and the large sandy beach of Minori are approximately 200 meters (about 656 feet) away from the house.
You can reach them on foot after going for a pleasant walk. On the beach, you will find bars and restaurants, and in case you want umbrellas and deck chairs, they are available for rental as well. The beach is framed by a long public garden (so-called Lungomare) which is a place where you can go for a stroll, sit at the tables of outdoor cafes, or even go shopping.
Minori is famous for its sweet specialties, and you have to try the candies and desserts of its pasticcerias (bakeries)!
You don’t need a car during your stay at Casa Villa Romana, but if you have one, you can book a pay parking space.
There are shops and restaurants 30 meters (about 98 feet) from the house .
You will arrive at the house after going along a pedestrian path and climbing 15 steps. You will enter a living-room illuminated by two high windows. In the living-room you will find a table, chairs, a couch, a satellite-dish TV, and a kitchenette. A staircase leads to the double bedroom, on a mezzanine. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner stove, a fridge with freezer, and an oven. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. There is a washing machine in the bathroom.
The living-room is 1.90 meter high (about 6.2 feet) and the bedroom is 1.75 meter high (about 5.7 feet).

it's great small and very cozy apartment in the heart of Amalfi, in oldest romana building! only one notice: parking isn't free.
Me and my boyfriend had a great time in Amalfi! Alfonso's place is ideal if you are trying to eascape the emails, phone and other media! We stayed for 4 days and it was perfect! Located opposite Villa Romana, in a quiet place, 3 min walk to the beach. We haven't met Alfonso but his friend who kindly met us and explained all the things we needed to know. Many thanks!
Thansk Alice, I am sorry but with my job it is wery difficault to meet all guest in summer time. I am skipper and ceo of a little charter company "amalfi charter.
we are happy that you did enjoy our place. you been wery nice gusts, and we hope to see you again.
This is an authentic little apartment in a lovely village with plenty of small markets & shops. There isn’t as much to do in Minori as there is in Positano or Amalfi, but a good bus service is available for day trips. The place is equipped with soap, towels, dishes, etc. It was lovely waking up in the morning and being able to cook breakfast over the stove and eat while looking out at the ocean from the window. It is a fair price for what you get, but there are a few things that made our stay less than comfortable.
When we arrived in Minori we could not get in contact with Alfonso for at least an hour and eventually he sent down his helper Vera after we found some wifi and contacted him via Air BnB. The phone number he provided was out of service. The place is much smaller than the pictures make it appear. If you are any taller than 5’ 5” you will have a hard time moving around the apartment. There is a leaky air conditioner in the apartment which drips into a bucket, if you leave it on overnight it overflows and the apartment floods. The wifi barely works and it isn’t even worth trying to use (it actually only connects across the street at the bus stop). The hot water is extremely temperamental and can come and go without warning. The “double bed” is two single mattresses strapped together and isn’t particularly comfortable, coupled with the fact that it is extremely noisy being located next to the main road.
It is a fun place to stay for a couple of nights, you can’t help but laugh at all of the strange surprises and quirks this apartment has to offer.
P.S. Don’t even bother with the washing machine, your clothes will come out worse than when you put them in!
Thanks Michael, you are always welcome, but I have to answer you . we are not perfect. but we try to do the best.
sorry if I could not answer you on the phone, but you did have 2 mobilphones numbers, Alfonso and Rosaria, and Rosaria's mobil ph. is always accessible.
I am a skipper also and somethimes my mobil ph is out of services expecially when I am around Capri Island. But with us you have ceck-in any time also in the night.
Apartament is a wery nice hold construction on the rest of a Roman Villa of 1st century ac. we cannot change a lot, it is a procted area, do not forget the Amalfi coast is a world heritage site. Sorry about Matresses, nobody claim before, in any case matresses are new. about air conditioned, you need to close the windows when you light it on, otherwise it never stop, that is the way the water flows out, but now we resolve the problem.
The washing machine is an IGNIS brend wery new, it cost more than 400.00 euro. it is an AA class, if you overcharge it,or if you use to much soap, like you did, more than 12 lbs linen, it will cut of the centrifuge, to avoid dammage.
Sorry but you should mention that in 2 day you did wash all your clothes and socs, etc.
about internet we know that somethime wifi is slow, but shortly we will have a strong wifi connection by the town all, and you can use internet any place in the town.
Thanks a lot, and sorry for my answer.
Thanks Alfonso and Rozarina for cozy apartment! Its not big, but good for two people.
Internet slowly and sometimes didn't work, but we notice that its common problem near the coast. Rozarina met us and explained necessary things. If you need comfort small flat near the sea-its really good option!
We loved Minori. It is a beautiful place and gives many opportunities
for exploring the amalficoast. The apartment was small & good-eguipped, perfectly well for the two of us. The service was great.
