Paddy's suite was the perfect getaway for two! This was our first Airbnb experience and we have no complaints. Paddy's attention to detail in the suite was second to none. I would not hesitate to return.
Very convenient location for a ski vacation! We had a lovely time. Thank you.
We absolutely loved staying at the Suite. It was even better than advertised. It is perfect for a romantic getaway and very close to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Village for skiing. Purple is a wonderful host, and although the Suite is attached to her house it really feels absolutely private. The hot tubafter skiing was just amazing. We will for sure be returning soon.
I stayed with my girlfriend at Paddy's suite over New Year's Eve and we had an incredible stay. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay again.
The suite itself is a unit attached to the back of the main house, and shares an adjoining hallway with the main house. You can tell the suite was specifically designed for hosting two - the space is very efficiently designed, with a small kitchen, mainroom, separate small bedroom, and bathroom, maximizing your experience. The value is incredible and probably one of the best deals in Tahoe. The location is excellent, being right outside of the main hub of Tahoe city and right next to a major bus stop that takes you up and down Lake Tahoe. There are a lot of extras that also add to the experience - a fully supplied kitchen, a jacuzzi immediately outside your unit, wifi, flatscreen tv with DVD player, two sierra nevadas waiting for you in the fridge. I would definitely recommend staying at Paddy's suite during your next trip to Tahoe
Paddy's suite was the perfect spot for our weekend visit to Tahoe. The space is warm and inviting and the hot tub was a definite perk after a glorious (but chilly) hike along the Rubicon trail. Paddy was very friendly and made sure all our needs were taken care of before and during our stay. I would return!
My girlfriend and I had a great stay, the suite was cozy, matched the pictures and description perfectly. Would definitely stay again.
This place is GREAT! Super cute, comfy, warm and it has everything you need! The hot tub is a fantastic extra. I wish we'd been able to stay longer!
Perfect for a cozy, weekend getaway with someone special. I booked a rather last minute birthday trip for my girlfriend, and we had such a great time. Hanging out by the fire and soaking in the hot tub -- which is right out your back door! This was my first Airbnb experience and was a bit wary of the 'shared' aspect of the house/ suite. However, aside from the front door and a hallway door, you feel sufficiently alone and separate in your fully functional suite. The house is laid out such that there isn't any shared walls except for your door to the hallway. Fire Sign is a fantastic spot for breakfast, just a few blocks away --we went both mornings it was so good. Although this trip was about relaxation, I'd most definitely book this place for our next ski trip. Squaw is about 15 minutes up 89, and returning to your very own 'personal' hot tub sounds mighty inviting. Paddy allows a parking spot in front of the garage with enough space for even larger, snow friendly trucks and SUVs. We ended our wonderful weekend by stopping to cut down our own, snow covered, Xmas tree on the drive back to San Francisco. My girlfriend thinks I had been planning this trip for weeks!
The Suite was absolutely amazing and had a really cozy and homey feel to it. Even though we weren't able to meet up with Paddy when we got there, she had a few beers and the hot tub all ready to go for us. To top it all off, it was literally a hop skip and a jump away from the lake and some really great eats. This is definitely a spot worth checking out!
We rented the suite for a weekend and had a very nice time. As advertised, it is cozy and private. Purple Paddy was out of town when we stayed, but she gave very clear instructions. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer :).
