Enjoy a very short 2 minute walk to the locals favorite Front Porch Cafe for coffee&pastries. Very close to free public beach parking! Bike ride to the sound side end of the road and enjoy the neighborhoods private sound front lot for fishing, picnics or watch a beautiful sunset! *DISCOUNTED BEACH PHOTO SESSION*

There is a pull out sofa in the sunroom to accommodate 2 extra guests. There are two bedrooms, each has a King bed. There is also a living room sofa if someone wanted to sleep on it.
We welcome your furry friends! Up to 2 pets allowed: pet fee is $25 PER pet PER night. Please be sure your reservation accurately reflects your pet count. A 3rd pet can be considered with additional fee, you must reach out prior to booking for approval. If you bring any pets not listed on your reservation, you will be charged via the Airbnb Resolution Center the pet fees plus an extra $15.

This is a fully equipped cottage with 2 king bedrooms (both with smart tv's), 1 bathroom cottage, centrally located in Kill Devil Hills directly across from the Avalon Fishing Pier! Excellent WiFi.
You are going to LOVE the cottage. So tastefully decorated and loaded with everything you need for the most comfortable stay! Enjoy the bikes provided just please bring your helmets. Sit in the back yard by the fire pit while you relax in the evening. Take a stroll a block north via sidewalk to The Front Porch Cafe and enjoy excellent local coffee and pastries. Head just across the street to the Avalon Fishing Pier for a fun filled day of beach and fishing time or enjoy the arcade. They also have a bar, serve food inside and outside on the decks. Just down the street to the west of the house is direct access to the sound with a boat launch so bring your boat or jet ski! Or just enjoy walking there and watching a beautiful sunset or fishing. Take the bikes along the sound side Bay Drive bike path that leads directly to the Wright Brothers Monument. This is the spot for you!! Kayaks and SUPs available for free use, pick up a mile down the road and must be able to transport! I have all the information on great launch spots.

★ There is a smart tv for your streaming needs. One in each bedroom and the living room. There is no cable television.
★ We are happy to start you with some basics such as a roll of paper towels, 2-3 rolls of toilet paper, a couple of trash bags and a sponge/dish soap. You will need to supple any additional that may be needed for your stay.
★ You may see someone from our lawn care team come out for a quick trip during your stay to maintain the grass.
★ The cottage is on the West side of US 158 - you will have to cross the main road to get to the beach.
★ There is a check out guide posted on the refrigerator with check out tasks to include: wash your dishes, start the first load of linens and take your trash to the outside can.
★ Please also note the cottage is on the corner of the main road. It offers much privacy with a large thick hedge barrier and cinderblock walls but you can hear traffic sometimes.
★ Hurricane season is June to November, please see Airbnb policy regarding weather events: "Weather events, natural conditions, and diseases that are excluded from our Extenuating Circumstances Policy" There will be no refunds related to weather events. If this concerns you I encourage you to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance is available through Airbnb and you will be presented with the option to add trip insurance prior to confirming your booking.
