Interaction with Guests

As much or as little as desired. We live in the apartment and are always available for assistance or good tips on where to go for food, sights, entertainment or something off the beaten track

The Neighborhood

An unparalleled neighbourhood, surrounded by green space, lots of walking and running trails and only 10 minutes from the very centre of Copenhagen.

Getting around

Driving here is easy, both linked directly to Copenhagen centre and also to the main highways. We are located on top of a car park, so there are always plenty of (paid) parking spaces within a few meters from the entrance.

Busses stops 200 meters from our building, but the real gem here is the metro that will take you directly to the centre of the city in 10 minutes, it departs every 3-5 minutes in the day time and every 10 minutes at night, all night, every day.

You can also take the Öresunds train to the airport or proceed over the bridge to Sweden. The train departs every 20 minutes in the daytime.

Other Things to Note

Ørestad is a developing city area in Copenhagen, Denmark, on the island of Amager.

The area is being developed using the new town concept with the Copenhagen Metro as the primary public transport grid, connecting the area with the rest of Metropolitan Copenhagen.

Ørestad is noted for its attractive location and excellent infrastructure, which apart from the metro includes Öresund Railway and the Copenhagen Airport as well as the Øresund Bridge close by.

The regional Öresundtrains go to Copenhagen Airport in 6 minutes, to Copenhagen Central Station in 7 minutes, and in 29 minutes to the Central Station in Malmö, Sweden's third largest city.

Ørestad features some of the most interesting, contemporary architecture and has been referred to as "the largest crossroads in Scandinavia".

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Claus and Antara are excellent Air BnB hosts, very friendly and go out of their way to be accommodating and welcoming. We had a very comfortable sleep in their wonderful apartment and Claus gave us a lovely fresh breakfast before we headed off for the day. They really could not have done more to make us feel welcome and even gave us a lift to the train station as we were leaving. Very thoughtful and very interesting hosts. Definitely would recommend them and would happily stay with them again!

  • Claus and his wife are extremely nice and laid back hosts and I can only recommend staying with them. I was in Copenhagen for business and the conference center was right by their home, so my stay was perfect. But it was also really easy to get into town with the metro in no time at all, the metro stop is 5 minutes from their home. The building is really cool and even if you are not an architecture geek you will find it really fascinating. Claus gave me some excellent suggestions for restaurants in Copenhagen off the beaten track. I would definitely stay with them again, even if I did not have to go to the conference center! Many thanks!
