Cleanliness and your sense of safety are very important to us at “Into the Blue.” We have an excellent housekeeper, and we also deep clean and inspect the house and grounds monthly. We follow the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines established by AirBnB in response to COVID-19 concerns. If you have any special needs or concerns as you make your travel plans, please let us know.

The space
When you stay with us you'll enjoy the main floor of our home that includes two bedrooms (QU & FU), two bathrooms (3/4 & full), and a Pack N Play for little ones. We also feature a complete laundry, fully stocked kitchen, all new LG and Maytag appliances, roomy living and dining spaces, spacious deck with gas grill, fenced back yard, and attractive front yard.

Grab a Caribou coffee, enjoy La Ferme, and shop the antique and gift stores downtown. Our favorite place to take the grandkids is Country Blossom Farm in the fall and Andes Tower Hills in the winter! Don't miss the Central Lakes Bike Trail, and enjoy great fishing on the Alexandria Chain of Lakes!

We joined the AirBnB Community in 2017 as travelers and absolutely relish staying with AirBnB hosts on our adventures! In 2019 we accepted a call to a beautiful church in the Duluth area, and we love our little house in Alexandria so much, we decided to add hosting to our AirBnB relationship.

Sue has enjoyed 20 years in the hospitality industry pouring coffee, serving guests, cooking and catering delicious meals, managing resorts, and paying attention to the details. Gary is a 22 year U.S. Army military veteran, an ordained minister, and a customer service and administrative leader. We are both musicians, Sue on keyboards and Gary on drums, and we love to sing together (often in church, but mostly in the kitchen making breakfast). We have 10 years of loving memories nestled in the walls of our clean, friendly home and you’re invited to be our guest.
