It's absolutely necessary to have a personal transport on the island ( car or scooter)
Absolutely amazing. If you ever get a chance to visit Formentera this place has everything. It had the mix of agriculture outside and modern well set up finca inside. Very peaceful and a great place to stay for a couple or individual who enjoys runs and Yoga. This beautiful house in three words was clean, modern and functional.
In addition, beaches were so beautiful and if you love to take pictures like me this is the place to be taking them. Gorgeous scenes and fresh and clean air, what more could you want! We stayed 4 nights which was a bit short, I would suggest a week to get the full experience.
Also, can't forgot to mention how great Olga and her family was to us. They gave us tips on nice beaches and made us feel at home. The interior was nicely set up and all the essentials in the kitchen and washroom were there. Olga and the family were very helpful and accommodating as if we were staying at a friends house. We had the whole place and full out door patio to ourselves.
Starting from the cleanliness to the amazing environment to the connection to Wi-Fi to the great hosts, this place was everything and more.
The place is absolutely lovely and perfect for a couple. Its only 10 minutes from Sant Fransesc the main town and close to some of the best beaches. The house is has a lot of character and is nicely done out inside. Both Olga and Michel were very helpful. Would stay again.
In the first week of october we stayed in one of the beautiful houses of Olga and Michel. We had gorgeous weather, between 30 and 26 degrees all week. And even though we had seen pictures it was till a big surprise to us how beautiful this "little" house and the surrounding garden was! Olga kindly warned us that it might be to small to bring our son because it was a house for couples, but we had more then enough space for the three of us. We brought a bed for our little man and he had a blast! He instantly made friends with the funniest goat who wanders the terrain.
The house and the garden give you 100% privacy. And it's a beautiful house with gorgeous locale building details. We were just in love with the floor. And Michel was kind enough to tell us all about how the floor was made. Both Olga and Michel were very helpful if we had any questions what so ever. And i honestly hope we will see them again someday.
The location of the house is in a very lovely area with typical Formentere streets and buildings. Close to the house of Philippe Starck, a well known designer. It's a nice quiet area with a gorgeous view all the way to the ocean.
Formentera is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday. The old hippy attitude is still felt in the laid back atmosphere. It has beautiful views, quiet beaches, impressive old buildings like the old windmills and guard towers and amazing new houses. A couple of small towns where you can do your shopping or have diner at one of the many restaurants like Macondo in Sant Ferran (one of our favorites). Formentera has definitely won our hearts. Just like it won the heart of Rachel's father, Piet-Hein, many many ... many years ago. Which inspired him to write the song "Formentera Lady".
Great trip, gorgeous house and location, lovely hosts, perfect weather, the cutest goat, great ambiance and a view to die for!
The only regret we have about this trip, is that we didn't stay longer!
When we arrived, Olga and Michel were already waiting for us. They just welcomed us and we felt almost like home. They also were very helpful and absolutely perfect hosts. Even before we arrived, they gave us great advices. Olga always answers very very quickly. The house is as cute as on the pictures and if you need a place which is calm and fabulous, this will be your house. There is no noise at all and in the night you can see all the stars like you never saw it before.
Thank you very much Olga and Michel, especially for the afternoon/evening trip to Espalmador. We had a great time! We absolutely recommend this place and will stay again.
Olga´s little house is very charming. We had a wonderful week there. Olga is a great host, very nice and helpful. The pictures show exacty how the house looks like. It is well and lovely furnished, it contains everything you need (kitchen adds, washing machine, dish washer, ..) and a very nice relaxing garden with sunloungers and umbrella.
We can highly recommed that perfect place.
Formentera is the place.
Olga, Michel and family are great great hosts.
The house is a small wonder in fantastic rural area with all comforts yet a perfect true Formentera feeling.
Best holidays ever.
Everything about this place is just perfect, it's so beautiful renovated, attention is paid to every detail. We just spend the best week there.
Nice and peaceful place. Olga is very friendly. We have enjoy a lot during our estate including nice nights watching the stars (in special the perseidas ). Thanks Olga.
We spent a wonderful week at Olga & Michelle's cute rural house. Even though we arrived late at the meeting point Olga was full of smiles and tips about the island. The finca is in a beautiful area near Cala Saona and a short ride away from everything. We felt we were deep in the countryside. It has one of the few Spanish restaurants that offers fresh fish and a supermarket with fresh bread and croissants near by. The decor is very chic and unpretentious. Very comfortable furniture. Easy to keep clean. The washing machine is a plus. In the morning we had breakfast under the shadow in the patio and read in the hammocks. There is a gorgeous outside shower for when we were back from the beach or to refresh yourself on a hot afternoon. We spent our evenings cooking and eating al fresco. It's a very peaceful place. The view of the stars at night from the patio is amazing! Every where you look there is something nice to see. We specially love Antonia the pet goat. A very well behaved, sweet goat. On the last day Olga drove us to the port to catch our ferry. Exactly how holidays should be! Thank you so much we hope to come back. :)
