About This Listing
A single room in my two bedroom flat. The room is small but comfortable and you are welcome to make use of the rest of the apartment while you are here. There are separate eating and living spaces, Sky TV and broadband. The block was built in 1890, has wooden floors, lots of character and a balcony with a small table and chairs - perfect for breakfast over-looking London roof-tops if it's not raining.
Camberwell is an exciting London location and has a selection of great pubs, cafes and restaurants. Muriel Spark used to live here as did Florence from Florence and the Machine. It is multicultural and vibrant. Five minutes on the bus from Brixton Village, the Ritzy cinema and the underground. It is quick walking distance from Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill train stations and there are also lots and lots of easy buses to Waterloo, London Bridge and Victoria which all take about 20 minutes.
I have lived in the area for 4 years and recently decided to buy my own home here. I'm a self employed actor/writer/teacher.
Any questions then please do not hesititate to ask. Look forward to having you to stay.
No smoking in the flat - you can on the balcony if you want. I don't have any pets or animals. You are welcome to use the kitchen if you want. I have a fridge and freezer which you can keep your own stuff in. I hope you will enjoy your stay.
Richard and Saskia are wonderful hosts! Richard answered all my questions immediately and with patience beforehand and during my visit they were very friendly and helpfull.
The flat is very beautifull and even if the sleeping room is small, it’s very cosy and I could use all the rest oft the appartment as well.
It’s a wonderfull neighbourhood with all kinds of restaurants and pubs nearby.
I had a great time staying with Richard and Saskia, who made me feel very welcome immediately. The flat has a lot of space and character, which means it really doesn't matter that the room isn't very big. It's within easy walking distance to all the bars and restaurants in Brixton and well connected through the Victoria line. I can only recommend staying here when you're in London!
All went well, Richard was very helpful with local information directions, places to eat, buses etc and the apartment was exactly what it said on the box and for one person who needed to be close to Kings College Hospital it was ideal.
I very much enjoyed staying with Richard and Saskia who are both really nice and helpfull. I Can definitely recommend to stay there! :)
