A single room in my two bedroom flat. The room is small but comfortable and you are welcome to make use of the rest of the apartment while you are here. There are separate eating and living spaces, Sky TV and broadband. The block was built in 1890, has wooden floors, lots of character and a balcony with a small table and chairs - perfect for breakfast over-looking London roof-tops if it's not raining.
Camberwell is an exciting London location and has a selection of great pubs, cafes and restaurants. Muriel Spark used to live here as did Florence from Florence and the Machine. It is multicultural and vibrant. Five minutes on the bus from Brixton Village, the Ritzy cinema and the underground. It is quick walking distance from Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill train stations and there are also lots and lots of easy buses to Waterloo, London Bridge and Victoria which all take about 20 minutes.
I have lived in the area for 4 years and recently decided to buy my own home here. I'm a self employed actor/writer/teacher.
Any questions then please do not hesititate to ask. Look forward to having you to stay.
No smoking in the flat - you can on the balcony if you want. I don't have any pets or animals. You are welcome to use the kitchen if you want. I have a fridge and freezer which you can keep your own stuff in. I hope you will enjoy your stay.
I very much enjoyed staying with Richard and Saskia who are both really nice and helpfull. I Can definitely recommend to stay there! :)
Richard and Saskia were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The flat is really nice and clean and has all that is necessary to have a comfortable stay. Flat is well located close to transport, shops and restaurants. Definitely recommended.
Such a great experience loved staying in Richards apartment they were such a great hosts and would definitely stay here again next time I was in London! Made me feel so comfortable and at home and there flat was so cosy and lovely.
I really enjoyed my stay at Richard's. The flat is colourful and briliantly eclectic, it has everything you need, and was perfectly located for me. On top of that, Richard and Saskia were welcoming and very friendly.
I'd definitely recommend this one!
Richard and Saskia were great hosts. I felt welcomed immediately. I just moved to London and wanted a comfy place to hole up for a few days while conducting a search for a room to rent in London. They were happy to answer any questions I had about neighborhoods and the search process. The neighborhood is nice, and it is easy to get around. It was a little cold in the flat, but that might have been because I was there for some very cold days and the flat itself is in an older building so the insulation may not be so good.
Awesome experience! Just what I needed. Richard was a very gracious and accommodating host.
I was suffering quite a bit from a terrible cold while I stayed with Richard and Saskia. So I basically was hidden in the room like a troll for the duration of my stay.
R & S couldn't have been nicer to me while I was with them, even offering me some precious vitamins to try and ward off whatever I had.
Once again 100% recommendation.
