Clean and just as described. This home is LOVELY, incredible art, and incredibly welcoming host. Communication was easy, internet was fast, beds were comfortable, safe neighborhood, cats were playful, and it was a fabulous stay. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be in and explore the area.
Rudy is a great host. He was generous with his time, he is well travelled and very knowledgeable on a number of topics. The room was great and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great and very generous. I wished I could have stayed longer. Would well recommend.
Lovely house. Relaxing atmosphere...I'd love to come back sometimes. Thanks.
Rudy is very nice and relaxed, his house is one of the best house I've visited, it is very clean and organized. House is only half of the game and Rudy filled the other half with a lot more then he should. After finding out it was my birthday he drove us to dinner with his friends in town and they even had a cake for me and sing together, it is one of the most interesting birthday I ever had, that is love.
Rudyard was very generous with picking me up from the station and making me feel at home. The facilities were very luxurious and he is very meticulous in ensuring a good breakfast with food needs taken care of.
Lovely guy......rooms nice.......neighbourhood lovely and quiet.......would recommend to anyone
About the Host, Rudyard
I'm in the health profession (banking hours) but more importantly, a massage therapist and a fantastic cook. I have great local knowledge not just of the area and also of New Zealand. I have been in the B&B business for over 15 years (I operated one in Manhattan for maybe 7 years)-- so I'm very attuned to travellers' needs and provision of their comfort, as I am a frequent traveller myself (overseas [Europe or North America] 3x/year).
Whenever I travel, I frequently use Air BnB, so I can compare and select services which suit, and provide those in Te Manapouri B&B.
I also emphasise the latter "B" of B&B, which is the custom in America, so guests should expect a fully laid out breakfast in the morning.
