The Apartment is in the basement of a home on a quiet street in an affluent residential neighborhood in North Buckhead about a mile or a 20-minute stroll to Peachtree Street the commercial and iconic backbone of Atlanta.
Buckhead is a blend of commerical (Peachtree Street) and residential neighborhoods. It is Atlanta’s mecca for shopping and is home to two high-end malls that boast ritzy shops such as Lord and Taylor, Neiman Marcus, and Versace and Chanel just to name a few. After you have exhausted your shopping desires, you can enjoy fine dining at a variety of restaurants or sip a well-mixed cocktail, as North Buckhead is home to many bars and clubs—a great place to strut late at night.
Interaction with Guests
I interact with guests according to their needs. Most of my guests are business travelers, whom I rarely see as there is a separate access to the apartment. However I'm readily available to assist with enquiries, directions, food, recommendations etc. should the need arise
Leave the apartment as you found it.
Linens should be left on bed and used towels should also be left in the bathroom.
Place trash in garbage can by gate.
Keep all gates closed.
You are welcome you to use to the patio area to eat or relax, but clean up after yourself please.
Large, spacious basement level with access to backyard. House is very clean and in a quiet, gorgeous neighborhood.
Jane was very accommodating and let us leave our luggage there even though we've checked out, til later in the day when we have to leave for our flight.
Only downside is the walls are a little thin, could hear some footsteps in the morning. But I still slept quite well overall.
Jane was very responsive through the booking process and provided a warm welcome. The description doesn't do the space and lovely outdoors justice. We had a great stay and Jane was very attentive. The only piece missing for us was a stove however there's a grill available plus everything else you would expect in a kitchen ( oven, microwave, fridge, toaster + coffee pot (and coffee! etc.). Neighborhood is very safe and location is perfect with easy access to main highways, restaurants/night life, malls, and direct routes to get Downtown or North toward the Perimeter without too much traffic. We will definitely stay again!
This was my second stay at Jane's wonderful place. Really nice accommodations in a great location.
Very nice place at a great location. My only issue was the walls were too thin. The sound was sometimes difficult while sleeping.
Had a last minute trip to Atlanta, and all hotels were booked within a reasonable (40 minute drive) distance of where I needed to be. Found Jane's listing, and sent her a note the day before.
She responded very quickly, and had all the details ready for me before I left the next morning, removing a source of uncertainty.
The place is lovely, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. No problems finding it or parking on the street.
Really enjoyed the place, and would certainly be glad to stay here again.
The apartment was very clean, and Jane left the lights on so I don't arrive in the dark. The neighborhood is very quiet, and serene.
Great experience. Location was great and close to shopping and restaurants. The space was large, clean, beautiful and we were able to take advantage of the pool table and backyard. I would stay again!
Born in Ireland, raised and educated in Ireland, I love to travel and meet people, and have lived in many countries. I now live in Atlanta with my family. Although hotels are fine, my ideal visit anywhere is to stay with friends or in a rental home as I like to relax and prepare my own food sometimes, soaking in the local culture and foods. Airbnb has that vibe for me and since I have extra space I thought it would be a great way to meet people and offer home comforts in an area of Atlanta which comprises of expensive hotels.
