Want to get away from the crowds? Located at the end of a dead-end road the cabin sits on the eastern edge of the Cascade Mountain range. This is a great get-a-way spot and is close to Crater Lake National Park and hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. This is also a great location for motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles. Park your trailer and ride from the cabin to hundreds of miles of Oregon's best snowmobile and off-road vehicle trails, you only have to unload once.

The space
There is a hammock where you can read a book and listen to the gentle breeze blowing through the pine trees. If you forgot your book don't worry, there's plenty of books. The cabin has three decks attached to it where you can set up a chair and enjoy the peaceful calm of mother nature. The open beam ceilings and rustic feel of the cabin make it a special place you'll love. There are lots of activities nearby including: Crater Lake National Park, Lake of the Woods Resort, Rocky Point Resort, Harriman Springs Lodge, Crater Lake Zipline, and hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain biking, and ATV & motorcycle trails. The resorts offer kayak, canoe, and pontoon boat rentals so you may enjoy the beauty of Southern Oregon from the water. There are plenty of fun activities , and all are just a short drive from the cabin. Whether you visit the majestic beauty of Crater Lake, or just spend your days in the hammock this is a great get-a-way spot.

Guest access
Almost all areas of the cabin are open for your use. There are some locked drawers and cabinets you will see, please don't take offense to this. My family and I still frequently use the cabin. Those locked drawers hold all the essentials we would forget going back and forth so often.

The cabin sits at the end of a dead-end road and is very quiet. Tall pine trees surround the cabin and add to the beauty and rustic feel. There are three resorts with restaurants and rentals within a ten minute drive or less. You can soar through the trees on Oregon's longest zipline at Crater Lake ZipLine, just a two minute drive away. See the beauty of Southern Oregon by hiking the Mountain Lakes Wilderness area just a 10 minute drive away. If you have ATVs, dirt bikes, or snowmobiles you can ride right from the cabin to hundreds of miles or trails.

I am a native of the Seattle/Tacoma area and I have lived in Klamath Falls since 1996. I moved to Klamath for a little slower pace of life. The Eastern Cascades and the High Desert here are truly one of the Pacific Northwest's hidden secrets. I have two incredible teenage children and a Belgium shepherd named Sadie. The cabin is a special place for all of us, especially the dog. :) I am also a United States Marine combat veteran, if you are a veteran I would love to hear about it. I have shared the cabin with family and friends for years and I decided more people should enjoy it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. David
