Me and my girlfriend stayed there for 4 nights and it was a great place.
The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had about the area really fast.
The location of the apartment is really good, it's 10 minutes walk from shibuya and there are both supermarket and a Lawson just next to it.
The apartment is really nice, and it's pretty big for this area in tokyo, there is everything you need there, a fully equipped kitchen, shower,ac laundry machine and a portable WiFi.
Only minus for me was that it's not so suitable for tall people like me and I knocked my head couple of times.
Will probably stay again next time if I'll be in shibuya area.
The experience staying at Bruce's apartment is good. it is very helpful and quick response from him when we asking for help.the apartment surrounding with many market is quite (website hidden) the way, the transportation service provide by Mohinder is a plus (website hidden) is very helpful especially when you bring many luggages.the Fuji mountain tour service is a great memory to me and my family.overall,it is very great experience staying at Bruce's apartment.
The location is awesome - just around 10mins walk to Shibuya or you can choose to take the 40 seconds train ride from Shinsen to Shibuya. The apartment is as reflected in the pictures. The drainage in the shower is a bit clogged up so we experience little flood whenever we take showers. The heater is not working too well, it was still pretty cold in the apartment although it was on. I think the curtain for the balcony door needs to be changed. There is this weird huge stain on it. The portable wifi only has 100MB quota per day so it is pretty slow. No bikes. Thanks for letting us stay - we had a good time :)
Everything was as described and we enjoyed our stay. The location was great, a very short walk away from Shibya station and lots of restaurants nearby etc. Also the WiFi router came in handy. MrB checked with us that everything was OK and overall the communication was excellent.
Only negative would be that it was a bit cold in the apartment despite the heater being on but this was expected since the insulation in houses is not like in Finland. Anyway the blankets were plenty warm to sleep under and we didn't have any real problems but if you are sensitive to cold during the night you might want to bring a long sleeved shirt and pants for sleeping during winter.
Overall a good experience for great price and location and I would recommend staying here. Thanks!
Bruce was a very welcoming host and even checked up throughout our visit to make sure things were going well. There was lots of helpful information in the apartment detailing tokyo and the area. The apartment had all the amenities you could need and was in a really great area with so many delicious places to eat on the same street. I would particularly recommend the one that says 'no fish no life' out the front. All in all a great stay.
Very good host. Organized and very informative. The place is good standard and clean. Location is very very good for an Tokyo stay. The local area is very nice with many good restuarnts and very cozy. The LTE wifi broadband that comes with the appartement is brilliant and a life saver. Very happy with our stay:-).
