Our comfy guestroom with private bath is located just a quick 5 minute drive to the National Quilt Museum and Paducah's historic downtown. Here you can find a bevy of locally owned restaurants, art galleries, antique shops, winery, and much more!
Our home is located on a shady street in the desirable west end area. The original structure was built in the 1930's and has been added on to ever since. The private guest room is part of the original 1930's structure and was the only bedroom in the home for quite a while. We have a unique decorating sensibility! In our home you will find antique furniture and prints, original fine art and tribal art, quirky objects, old medical tools, musical instruments, and natural items.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the living and dining room, the back yard deck and brick patio, and the kitchen as well.
Interaction with Guests
We are social folks and love to get to know people! We also know some guests might prefer to have privacy. We will be available when needed to provide suggestions of places to go and if so desired a friendly chat and perhaps a glass of wine! We do have two friendly kitties that run around and enjoy company almost as much as we do!
We are a fun loving and creative couple! We enjoy playing music, creating art, hiking, biking, archery, watching documentaries, and too many other things to list. We are both vegetarians and love to cook all varieties of vegetarian meals. We both read a great deal and enjoy adding to our ever growing library. Everyday we enjoy learning new things, loving life, and cherishing our friends and family!
