Recently awarded Condé Nast Traveler Ca top 38 best Farmstays Rustic 1800's farmhouse beautifully restored with a modern feel. Nestled just 5 miles from the historic town of Ferndale down a quaint, quiet, country lane. House sits at the beginning of our 120 acre organic feed and heifer farm. The home is filled with antiques from Texas and has the perfect touch of elegance and coziness. Enjoy our brand new kitchen and the charm of our old home! Shop and fine dining is just five down the road!

The space
The home is a two story 1852 fully restored farmhouse. My great aunt originally bought this homestead from the Church family who built this house in 1852, and the road is accordingly named after the Church family. Church Lane. With a newly remodeled kitchen and a remodel meant to keep everything as original as possible the house has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel but is as quaint, cozy and as comfortable as can be. The bottom floor has 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a cozy living room , a queen bedroom and a room off the queen bedroom with a daybed. The upstairs has a king bedroom, a bedroom with 2 double beds, a bedroom with 2 twins beds and a large 1/2 bath. We have two listings for the farmhouse to accommodate smaller stays. This listing is set up if more than two bedrooms are used we will add an extra 60 cleaning fee. If only two bedrooms are needed, we just close off the bedrooms not being used. The other listing is under At The Bluff Wedding Venue and it includes the entire house. Both include the entire house the only difference is if only 2 bedrooms are needed the cleaning fee is less and we just close off the bedrooms not in use.

Our home sits on our families organic feed and heifer farm, just below the bluffs of Ferndale and the tour includes both the heifer and feed farm and our dairy a few miles away. The interactive dairy tour includes the state of the art Delaval Robotic milking system. It is a quiet location just down a country road where you can experience the fresh air of the country while also being able to drive to town where restaurants, bars, shopping, and the beach are! You can also drive 20 minutes in the other direction to see the famous Redwood forests! Our farm is the perfect getaway and meets right in the middle where the trees meet the ocean.
