I usually never write a reviews but I want to write this one becasue this stay in Paris was amazing. Big part of that was great zpartment from Jean where you truly feel Paris. I like everything about it: great host, clean neat apartment, great neighborhood, amazing french music radio that Jean tuned. Really great!
Such a lovely little flat surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Everything was amazingly clean on arrival and actually not as tiny as we expected - perfect flat for a week's stay in Paris!
Jean is the ideal host. I met him on the first day and he was very attentive trying to make the stay easier and helping us moving around. His guide book is a must for anyone who wants to have a good time while staying in the area. We went to few of the places he recommends in the guide and they are worth going. The apartment is perfect for three people, the sofa bed is very comfortable. Although it is a lively street and there is some noise outside, you can hardly hear anything inside the flat because it is well insulated. The kitchen has all you need and everything in the flat is in pretty good condition. It is exactly the same that in the pictures or even better. The cleanliness was superb. The area has many shops and restaurants and the location is great. I will definitely love to come back to his apartment again as well as my friends.
Jean was an excellent host. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. He left clear instructions for the flat and lots of recommendations. He was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The flat is situated in a great area with lots of bars and places to eat and isn't touristy at all. It's within walking distance on the Marais and central Paris but is very close to the metro if you wish to take that instead. Even though it is on a busy road, the apartment is very quiet. It was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying there.
Jean met my husband and was very welcoming and nice. Jean showed my husband around the flat in addition, Jean had prepared and printed a few pages of flat mini "how to" and guide for the neighborhood. The listing was accurate, the flat was clean and neat. Very efficient use of space, the pictures posted on Airbnb are exactly what you get. The apartment is sunny and I loved the stereo system. We stayed for a while in Paris so we needed to do some laundry, which was quite easy to do as the washing machine was in the flat and the dryer was downstairs in a very near by laundromat (you just go downstairs and cross the street to find it). Since I never lived in Paris, it was kind of weird for me to have the toilet separate from the bathroom, also the staircase was very narrow for me, another thing that I later knew is typical Parisian. In general, I would greatly recommend this apartment for any dear friend staying in Paris.
Jean made us feel welcome. The place is exactly the photos are, cosy and clean. The neighbourhood is pleasant with plenty of restaurants, supermarts and pharmacies.
Jean was very accomodating and made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was spotless and in a location that is central whiteout being touristy.
