In your cabin you will find a comfortable queen-size bed, and in the second bedroom you have two single beds (extra large 2,10m / 7 feet long ), as well as a private bathroom and kitchen with a refrigerator. Next to the kitchen you'll find a small dining area with garden view. Outside you'll have a nice terrace with chairs and a table. Wifi is at the cabins free of charge.

The space
Your Hosts, Kees and Griselda, welcome you to Monte Terras B&B and Cabinas and to beautiful Costa Rica. We are close to the Monteverde Cloud forest, Rincon de la Vieja, Rio Celeste and Tenorio volcano, Arenal volcano, several hotsprings, and of course lake Arenal itself.
The cabins are situated in a beautiful garden where it’s nice and quiet. Simply enjoy the view, the birds and squirrels will keep you company.
In your cabin you will find a comfortable queen-size bed and in the extra bedroom you find two single -extra large- beds , as well as a private bathroom and kitchen with a refrigerator. Next to the kitchen you'll find a small dining area with garden view. Coffee and tea are provided and you may cook yourself a dinner or enjoy a home made meal at the Rancho with spectacular views of the lake.
Outside awaits a cosy seating on the veranda which you share with your “neighbors”. Every two cabinas share a veranda where you are protected from the wind. At lake Arenal there is always a nice breeze. The average temperature is around 76° F / 25° C.
At the cabinas, we offer a breakfast service.

Our cabins are located in a small town close to the lake Arenal. Small and authentic, just a few tourists. But from our place you can visit several Costa-rican highlights, like Vulcano Arenal and hotsprings, Monteverde cloud forest , Park national Rincon de La Vieja , Park Nacional Tenorio with the Rio Celeste and of course sports / hiking and watersports on and around Lake Arenal. In the year 2005 I burned all my bridges in the Netherlands, my native country, and came to Costa Rica to start a B&B and Cabins called "Monte Terras" at Lake Arenal. In my new homeland I met and married a local girl, Griselda and today we run the B&B together. Since 2005 I also organize tours throughout Costa Rica with great succes. I decided to start my own travel agency in 2010, named Rich Coast Travel. I do believe that no matter how wonderful a place can be, a local expert will help you make the most of it.
