Our spacious room is in a split level house on a safe quiet street with easy parking. It's 12 min. walk to BART, 15' to downtown San Francisco and airport, 6' to bus, near groceries, mall and ethnic restaurants. Includes breakfast.
There are three bedrooms and a bath on the upper floor and one bedroom and one bath on the lower floor. The spacious room upstairs has a comfortable queen and twin bed and can fit three people. It faces a lush secluded garden and has room blackening honeycomb shades and zero VOC paint on the walls. The floor is solid redwood.
The shared bathroom has marbled walls and floor and the shower has filtered chlorine-free water. From the window you can watch the stunning sunsets over the ocean two miles away.
It has a large closet, and a solid wood desk and highboy. It is in a detached split level house with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The stairs in the front of the house and those leading to the second floor have only three steps! You won't have to haul your luggage up long flights of steps.
Guests have access to the kitchen, dining and living room and garden. You can also use the front loading washer and dryer if you have a full load or you can use the laundromat nearby. There's also a clothes line in the yard.
Interaction with Guests
I enjoy talking with guests and suggest places for sightseeing. For breakfast, I provide organic milk, cereal, green or black tea, coffee, eggs, toast with cheese, jam, butter and peanut butter and fruits from the farmers market.
The detached house is on a corner lot on a hill in a U shaped street with little traffic. There are lots of trees, shrubs and flowers in the yards and easy street parking. The public library and gym is around the corner and a small mall with a supermarket is an easy walk away. There are lots of ethnic restaurants as well as American cafes, fast food joints and groceries nearby. Neighbors are nice and friendly.
BART is a 12 minute walk, Muni bus #14 which goes downtown to San Francisco is 6 minute walk and Sam Trans bus is at the corner. Freeway 280 and BART station are half a mile away (0.8 km).
From the SFO airport, take the taxi($36), Super shuttle, Uber($20), or Bart($7.90) to Daly City. From Daly City Bart, take a cab ($6), or Samtrans bus #130 ($2) or walk uphill to my house. If you have heavy luggage, I suggest you take a ride up.

Esther is a very welcoming host, considerate and kind. And her room is cheery, neat and very clean. The bathroom is beautiful and well appointed. And Esther's breakfast was perfect. What I liked most, aside from Esther's hospitality, was the bed: supremely comfortable. I slept like a log!
Esther is very nice host, and the room is very beautiful and clear. My family love the room very much, especially for the beautiful garden.
I must to say again, Esther is really very nice, she made cereal breakfast for us, we like it so much. will recommend to others.
Dana was very nice during my short-stay in Daly City. She keeps a clean house (no shoes inside!) - and that goes the same for the bedroom and bathroom.
I enjoyed chatting with over breakfast each morning. Speaking of breakfast, she makes some amazing oatmeal!
Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in deinem Haus und sind sehr dankbar für die freundliche Aufnahme und die Zeit die du für uns hattest!
Deine Tipps haben uns geholfen uns zurecht zu finden.
Herzliche Grüße Heike
Esther was a welcoming host and we appreciate her being so good with our 1,5-year old daughter. The apartment was clean and airy and the little garden was beautiful. We hesitated staying in Daly City but the location is actually not bad: it took less than 15 minutes to walk to Daly City BART station.
Thank you Esther for making our first Airbnb stay a wonderful experience. We spent six nights while visiting our son who had recently moved to San Francisco. Esther made herself accessible, we and our son felt very at home, but she also repected our privacy. We had great conversations over the lovely breakfasts she provided, and also during walks we took, and the few other meals we made together. The bed was very comfy, and the room was large, clean and airy. Esther is a throughly enchanting lady, and look forward to a return stay as long as our son is in the area.
The room was perfect! The room was spacious and with lots of light.
Just how we expected it to be.
Esther is very hospitable and kind, and always there to answer your questions.
Lots of parking space and she even let us park on her drive way.
Very near to the BART, very easy to get around.
Lots of maps in the room for us to use.
Would recommend it to everybody.
