Centrally located, easy drive to Downtown Denver, DIA, near DTC, CU Med Center, Craig Rehab, Aurora Hospital. Cherry Creek Reservoir within a mile. Nine Mile Light Rail Station 1.2 miles away. Mountains 30 minutes away! IKEA 12 minutes away!

Upstairs you will find a comfy King size bed with 2 king sized down pillows and two smaller pillows. 100% cotton 300- 500 count sheets . 2 bedside tables each with reading lamps. A traditional alarm clock with radio and a white noise option (which include rain forest and crashing waves) sit next to the larger flat screen TV with ROKU, antenna & DVD player on the 6 drawer dresser, all but 1 drawer is empty for your use. There is also a tall speaker that plays FM, and/or your iPod/iPhone or laptop. It can charge the phone for you too and you can plug it into the TV.
Full closet with extra hangers available for your use.

Off the bedroom is a deck which pours in morning light. Sit in the bright blue chair as you sip your morning coffee and soak up the sun as you wake up!
You will also find a full modern bathroom. The shower/full bath is great! Shower head has waterfall option, plus all the basics. Full medicine cabinet for your personal belongings. Large drawers under the sink also available. Extra linens and towels, toilet paper and stuff like that are found in the bathroom closet.

Downstairs you will find an entry way closet also available for your use.
The living room has THE most comfortable red leather sleeper couch, perfect for those who like to nap. Then again the leather recliner may be even more comfortable. It sits between the fireplace and the sliding glass door to the ground floor deck that has a pretty little garden with a glass table and 2 chairs that provide for great lounging for meals outside! In the summer time Nokero solar lightbulbs hang above. They are set to turn on automatically at night (option to turn off too) they bring a soft glow to the deck. I bring out the pretty, yet simple outdoor tweed carpet and flowers adorn the borders.

On winter days, there is nothing like a crackling warm fire to warm your spirit.

The dining area can seat up to 4 in comfy overstuffed dining room chairs at a new glass and stainless steel table. It is attached to the kitchen which is fully stocked with everything you need. Including pots and pans, cooking utensils, baking supplies, basic spices and cooking oils.

Memorial Day to Labor Day our complex has 2 pools.

Front loading washing machine and dryer. Go green and use the great sized drying rack. I also have a steamer that I use instead of an iron sitting in the guest closet if you need one.

Covered parking available for one car. Easy street parking in quiet, safe neighborhood. Security patrol on premises.

Bike available for use. Incredible bike trails, such as the Highline Canal, that can get you anywhere, including downtown Denver and the mountains! Or for easy jaunts to light rail, grocery stores, and Cherry Creek State Park.

Great eating, coffee shops, bars, shopping and movie houses in the area. Grocery stores nearby include King Soopers, Whole Foods, Spouts, Vitamin Cottage and the largest Asian market in Colorado.

Pets allowed. Dog walks in the area include across the street at the golf course, off season, or up Yale Avenue along walking/bike trail. A 200 acre off leash dog park is in Cherry Creek State Park!

I am new to the area and have been exploring quite a bit. I'm impressed with the great number of places to eat including Steak, Sushi, Thai, Korean, Mexican, Vietnamese, Chinese, Pub Grub and Pho. There are many international markets to shop at.
The walking trails are impressive, and perfect for bikes a run, or walking. Cherry Creek Shopping Mall is 12 minutes away. Movies are even closer.

Cherry Creek State Park is less than a mile away and has a beautiful large lake with mountain views, swimming beaches, fishing, boating, camping, picnic areas, hiking and bike trails, and the best 200 acre off leash dog park, with river ,for the dogs and humans to play in.

- I look forward to hosting you!

  • Kathryn is such an amazing host. I shared her Denver apartment and felt right at home. She's a real outgoing person, focused on making sure you have a great stay. On top of that, we had great conversations and she even showed me around and took me on a hike with her dog Buta. And very important when sharing an apartment: whenever I felt the need for privacy and relaxing, it was there.

The place was lovely and clean. Just gotta love that huge plant in the living room. Highly recommended for sure. Check out her other place as well.

  • Kathryn was a lovely hostess, and her sweet dog is just amazing. We had a great time chatting with Kathryn, and feel like we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  • I had a wonderful experience renting from Kathryn! My stay at Kathryn's apartment was my first experience using AirBNB. After renting with Kathryn, I will continue to use AirBNB and look to staying with Kathryn every time I'm in the Denver area.

Kathryn's apartment is clean and easy to reach by car from Downtown Denver and DIA. Kathryn is a great host and is incredibly giving of her time to make sure her guests are happy and satisfied with their accommodations. Kathryn also had lots of great ideas for fun things to do in Denver!

    A wonderful experience!

  • This was the first time I've used AirBNB and Kathryn was great about helping me figure out what to do. She was very helpful the entire way through the process. She even left snacks in the refrigerator!
The loft was very comfortable and inviting and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was set up well for us to make our meals and there was a rabbit that lived outside the dining nook (my partner loved that) that we watched as we had our breakfasts.
With this experience, I doubt we will ever stay in a hotel again. I just hope the next time is as great as this one was.

  • Kathryn was amazing. She did everything in her power to make the stay as easy possible and her place had all the accommodations of home. The fireplace was awesome and the kitchen allowed the space to do some healthy cooking. Thanks so much Kathryn!!

  • Kathryn has a lovely place. The house is beautiful and great for relaxing. Moreover, Kathryn is a great host and likes to ensure that you feel at home.

We were mostly traveling so we couldn't spend much time at the place but if we are back in Colorado, we will def. stay at her place again.

    Highly recommended!

House was as described and very comfortable.

  • My husband and I and two grandsons stayed twice at Kathryn's, both coming from the Denver airport and going back to it on a trip introducing our twins to the Rockies. Kathryn was very kind and accommodating, leaving fresh food for our breakfasts in a very usable kitchen, making up a comfortable extra air-mattress bed for us, and always being available by phone for easy communication and helpful suggestions. I enjoyed the rooms full of natural light, two gorgeous giant plants, and lots of original paintings on the walls. We appreciated our stays at the Sunny Loft as pleasant, homey book-ends to our trip.

  • Kathryn's loft is an excellent place to stay in Denver! It's very clean and fully equipped with everything you can think of. Also, there is enough food available, so even if you don't have your own groceries, you won't starve at all :-).

Kathryn responds quickly and clearly on messages.
