The farm with its beautiful floor boards, 200 year old beams, crackling wood stove, and cozy front porch promises a memorable experience.
'Old Clary Farm' was established in 1810 and is surrounded by pristine farm land.

Don't miss a walk into our cedar forest with its magical mosses. Some guests have called it 'otherwordly.'

Famous Hill Farmstead Brewery is only 1.2 miles from the farm.

The space
The Old Clary Farm is a beautiful old farm house established in 1810. At one time during prohibition, this place is said to have played a major role. You can still feel the history.
You are welcome to use our country kitchen, dining room, and living room, where a wood stove crackles in the winter.
The front porch is a favorite place to lounge during warm summer and fall months, surrounded by 200 year old maple trees and cows peacefully grazing in the background. The farm is a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy what makes Vermont so special.
The guest bedrooms where you will be sleeping is on the main floor directly across the large bathroom with the old claw foot tub. The bathroom has a shower with ample hot water. Down comforters and fresh country air promise you a relaxing and rejuvenating sleep at the Old Clary Farm.

Where you’ll be

Greensboro, Vermont, United States

Our beautiful neighborhood is typical Vermont North East Kingdom countryside with a large variety of locals and visitors of all different backgrounds.
Our immediate neighborhood consists of friendly families living down the road.
The famous Hill Farmstead Brewery is only 1.4 miles from our farm. So is Hillcrest Nursery and Jasper Cheese. The drive to the quaint town of Greensboro is 3.7 miles where Willey's is located - a must-see unique and traditional country store. Just across from Willey's is the Miller's Thumb, a fine art gallery of high quality. And only 50 yards away from the center of town is our public beach on beautiful Caspian Lake.
If you are interested in art, Greensboro is lucky to have a brand new and very modern Highland Center for the Arts on the west side of town, literally plopped in the middle of cow fields. This alone is worth seeing.
Sports: The Craftsbury Outdoor Center (the Olympic training center for sculling and cross country skiing) is 30 minutes away. And the famous Kingdom Trails for mountain biking in Burke are just a half hour away.

As an artist and author, I absolutely love living on my farm in Vermont. The outdoors that surround this wonderful place never seize to amaze me and continuously engage me.
I enjoy strolling through the woods and finding mushrooms, picking berries and apples, skiing along the many great ski trails nearby, swimming in beautiful Caspian Lake (only 3.7 miles away), jogging on our back roads, hiking Barr Hill, and so much more.
I have been an athlete for most of my life and to this date am an avid skier, rock and ice climber. I enjoy traveling and absolutely love anything made of fresh vegetables.
I am generally a busy beaver and you may not see much of me at all. However, at the end of the day, you may see me painting on the front porch or picking my mandolin while kicking back and watching the day fade away.
