Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Old Victorian Chapel House in the Scottish Highlands next to a Catholic Church. Large, spacious rooms. Good location as a holiday base with easy access to the Small Isles and Isle of Skye. Access to Steam Train journeys and Harry Potter Bridge at Glenfinnan.

The space
House is located next to the Catholic Church which is still in use (max. 2 hours, usually 3 days a week). House is a listed building and is maintained and kept in the old style with a relaxed shabby chic interior.

Guest access
The whole house is accessible apart from service cupboards. There is a fully functioning kitchen, utility room (washing machine and tumble dryer), Dining room, Downstairs Lounge with a view, Upstairs lounge with 65" Smart TV connected to the Internet and Sound System, Free Fast Wi-Fi, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (including one ensuite) + a seperate toilet downstairs.

Other things to note
Church Bells ring on the hour from 8am till 8pm but should not impact your stay. Church is still in use but separate from the property and normally 3-4 times a week for about an hour long service. Parishioners are respectful of guest privacy.

Lovely garden area. Usually quiet and calm with a lovely view. Garden tables available for outdoor dining.

Heating System is controlled via automated radiator valves and is monitored over the internet. Guests have a possibility to adjust the temperature in their bedrooms but only via wall thermostats (instructions available in the kitchen). Valves are extremely sensitive and while provide flexibility to control the temperature of the room, if manipulated, require a costly repair. Please note that the system registers and records all improper use of the valves and if damaged, costs will be passed onto the guests.

Recycling ♻️ is mandatory as per instructions of the local Council Area (which might differ from your own) available in the bin area. Please, familiarise yourself with the instructions as any penalty notice received during/after your stay will become part of your damage deposit claim. Normally our guests respect recycling rules without any problems.
