Welcome to The Yellow Door! If you are looking for a private getaway minutes from the city with complete privacy this is your destination! Our home sets on 20 acres of woods and pasture as well as a stream. Wildlife is abundant and guests can enjoy them while exploring outside or viewing from the large open windows inside. The property has a code accessed gate, alarm system, and motion lights. The decor is mid-century modern / farmhouse and is cozy yet serene. Come and Stay Awhile!

The space
Our home sits privately within the 20 acres and is a true oasis just minutes outside of town. There is a tree swing, 150 foot zipline, cornhole, volleyball set, bocce ball set, and even a batting cage for activities (bring your own supplies). Our favorite activity is to simply sit on the large deck in either the lounge area or the dining table and chairs and enjoy quality time while listening to the stream in the background. During cooler weather, the firepit is always a hit and perfect for smore making. The home features an alarm system, security cameras at the entry doors, and motion lights which ensure visibility to the home regardless of arrival time. We treasure our time spent at The Yellow Door and always love to share it with guests who feel the same way. Our settings usually require a two-night stay on weekends but if you would like one night only especially during the week please feel free to message me.

The property has beautiful picnic spots and there are a few exceptional restaurants nearby (Smokies bbq, Three Tequilas, and a great cafe and tea house - Wild Meadows Cafe) where guests can visit or do take out to enjoy onsite. Forest Ridge Golf Club is a few miles away and they also have a great restaurant with a weekend brunch. I Don't Care Bar & Grill is less than 10 minutes away and serves high quality food with large portions. We are also less than 15 minutes from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
For activities on the property, we have a fire pit, tree swing, areas to explore and hike around, a volleyball net, corn hole, and a propane grill. Sitting outside relaxing and listening to the stream is one of our favorite activities though!
