Our family of four (including two toddlers) + my sister-in-law had a comfortable and pleasant night. It is a great mid-point if you are doing Cape Breton over two or more days, in either direction. We will definitely seek out this place again if we return to the area.

Expect a somewhat renovated trailer house that has a door that does not latch and not enough water to take a shower. TV works great though. Trailer also shakes during high wind. Good luck!

Beautiful area. We went down to Meat Cove and hiked the Boardwalk. It was beautiful. In the evening we built a fire in the fire pit and sat outside for a while. It was relaxing and lovely. We weren’t informed about the plumbing issues.
