I'll ask you to provide for a copy of your ID for 2 reasons:
1) I'm concerned about safety and I need to be sure that the right people get inside my apartment (once, it was not the same person that booked the apartment and that checked in :-0 )
2) French government requests to prove that i rent my apartment and to who. To do so, I need a copy of your ID.
Some points are important to respect:
- it's compulsory to respect the neighbors and the quietness of the building (far from the street, : do not make too much noise after 10PM or before 8am. Do not set appointment in the lobby or in the stairs but do it in the apartment or outside the building.
-take care of the apartment and its equipment as if it was your own: as it's a private flat, and not an hotel, we filled the apartment with nice antiques, arty stuff, pretty bed linens and new appliances that need to be handle with care.
-Do not throw anything outside (cigarettes, papers, ...)
No cleaning fee is charged, we recommend daily maintenance of the place - which include taking care of garbage regularly and the respect of the furniture: no wet towels left on any piece of furniture outside the bathroom, etc. We kindly ask you to leave the apartment in an acceptable level of cleanliness (no stains/fat/garbage on the floor/fridge/worktops/furnitures/walls) , bath/sinks/toilets must be left clean, no dirty dishes should be left, etc.). We expect the bed linen to be remove and folded on the beds with towels to be cleaned, and all the garbage to be put in the container downstairs.
Furthermore, you should have duvet covers on the duvet at your arrival, if the weather is still very hot, please just remove the duvet covers from the duvet and use them as simple sheets. If you use other sheets that those on beds, you may have to pay extra charge.
Thanks for your understanding.
This apartment is an absolute gem! Our family of four loved staying here. It was very comfortable and clean. Everything worked perfectly and we felt like locals. The fans in the rooms were fabulous over the hottest week in years! The train station is very close by and the shops and lovely restaurants are all just a few meters away. We unfortunately did not get to meet David but communication was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this lovely apartment!
Our host was very attentive; his wife Karinne welcomed us and gave us helpful information about the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment description was accurate; it is charming, fully equipped and in great location near Luxembourg Park, metro stops, and many shops and restaurants. It is on high floor, full of light and with a nice view of rooftops. The apartment is great for a family on vacation.
Convenient location in a nice and safe neighbourhood. A few minutes walk to supermarket, restaurants and metro. Also, train station is within walking distance. The apartment is nicely decorated, however, cooking pots are very limited. There are two coffee machines; one is not functioning properly and the other one seems not been used for a while.
David's apartment was really good , unfortunately we could not meet david as he had some family emergency , the neighbourhood was really great and good with lots of options to eat and to have fun ,we infact ventured out to see Champions league matches in the area , the apartment was near the metro station, just a few meters away and there was access to two different lines . As far as the apartment goes it was very similar to the photos he had put up ,but the apartment looks much more beautiful in the photos then actually, the equipments in the kitchen , the bedroom were very good ,drawing room is pretty small but cosy for three people .
David was really open to helping with the taxi on the last day as well as helping us before we arrived at the apartment .
David was very helpful in the arrival process and the apartment had everything we needed. The location is the highlight of this rental, as it is very close to two subways and lots of restaurants and shops. The local bakery is a plus. Thank you for a lovely stay in Paris.

About the Host, David
HI! I'm a medical doctor and my wife works in a well know international organization. We (+ our 2 teens daughters) live in Paris, love it and know it very well. We can help you plan your journey in this wonderful city and give you both tourist and non-tourist good addresses.
We like to travel and visit cities: Living in an apartment instead of an hotel is the best way to feel the ambiance! We decorated our rented flat so that you can really feel the typical parisian luxury but trendy style !
We like our guests to take care of our apartment and we do the same when we travel in others houses.
