Some points are important to respect:
- it's compulsory to respect the neighbors and the quietness of the building (far from the street, : do not make too much noise after 10PM or before 8am. Do not set appointment in the lobby or in the stairs but do it in the apartment or outside the building.
-take care of the apartment and its equipment as if it was your own: as it's a private flat, and not an hotel, we filled the apartment with nice antiques, arty stuff, pretty bed linens and new appliances that need to be handle with care.
-Do not throw anything outside (cigarettes, papers, ...)
No cleaning fee is charged, we recommend daily maintenance of the place - which include taking care of garbage regularly and the respect of the furniture: no wet towels left on any piece of furniture outside the bathroom, etc. We kindly ask you to leave the apartment in an acceptable level of cleanliness (no stains/fat/garbage on the floor/fridge/worktops/furnitures/walls) , bath/sinks/toilets must be left clean, no dirty dishes should be left, etc.). We expect the bed linen to be remove and folded on the beds with towels to be cleaned, and all the garbage to be put in the container downstairs.
Furthermore, you should have duvet covers on the duvet at your arrival, if the weather is still very hot, please just remove the duvet covers from the duvet and use them as simple sheets. If you use other sheets that those on beds, you may have to pay extra charge.
Thanks for your understanding.
Lovely appartment in a fabulous location! Very clean and well appointed with lots of handy tea, coffee, shower gel, left for our arrival, very thoughtful. The area is fantastic with a supermarket, pattiserie, restaurants and metro very close by. A bit noisy over the weekends when we heard people in the other appartments.
Overall, very worthwhile and good value. We would come again.
Excellent choice for us!
Great location, very nice apartment and with lots of amenities.
WIFI is excellent too.
We loved staying in the apartment – very comfortable for our family of five and was well equipped with everything that we needed. The house manual was clear and provided us with good information about the neighbourhood. The area was lovely – cafes, restaurants, markets, Luxembourg Gardens and of course lots of good bakeries. Our girls loved being able to go to the bakery by themselves to buy baguettes and chocolate eclairs! The location is really good with very easy access to metro stations. David and his wife Karrine were perfect hosts, helpful and kind and we appreciated the fact that they went the extra mile for us during our stay.
This was a great experience. We loved the apartment and the neighborhood. Our 12 year old commented, " I just love our street". We pretended to be French for two weeks. We went to the bakery and grocery stores, the butcher and the chocolate place. The apartment is located just a mile from Notre Dame and a just a little further to the Louvre. The Luxenbourg Gardens just a block. The apartment was furnished with all we needed. We generally ate breakfast but enjoyed our other meals in the cafes.. We were in Paris over Christmas so we enjoyed getting warm. By the way, the 12 year old thinks a baguette win French butter and ham is"heaven".
David was there to greet us and show us the apartment. The apartment was just like the pictures with lots of Paris charm. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was safe and fun with lots of boutiques and restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend this location.
Great location with easy access to the best Paris has to offer. David left incredibly detailed instructions as to how to use everything in the apt. which was very helpful as appliances were quite different from those in the U.S. The apt. was comfortably furnished and worked well for the 3 of us staying there. We really liked the fact that we could prepare meals from products we purchased at several different markets.
Charming and well equipped apartment in an interesting neighbourhood (Ezra Pound lived opposite and and Hadley and Ernest Hemingway just along the road).
Good nearby bus service (the 38 from Gare du Nord stops at the end of the road - very handy) and friendly local shops, tabacs, restaurants and an arts cinema with bar and bistro just 2 minutes away.
David's communication was helpful and clear and everything was very straightforward.
We enjoyed our stay with our granddaughter (she loved her bedroom which reminded her of her room at home) and would stay there again.

HI! I'm a medical doctor and my wife works in a well know international organization. We (+ our 2 teens daughters) live in Paris, love it and know it very well. We can help you plan your journey in this wonderful city and give you both tourist and non-tourist good addresses.
We like to travel and visit cities: Living in an apartment instead of an hotel is the best way to feel the ambiance! We decorated our rented flat so that you can really feel the typical parisian luxury but trendy style !
We like our guests to take care of our apartment and we do the same when we travel in others houses.
