  • My boyfriend and I arranged a last minute impromptu trip to France and stayed with Marie-Christine and Willy. The apartment we rented for the weekend was exactly what we looking for in a quiet weekend getaway. The vineyard is in a beautiful location.

Our hosts were lovely, really helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

  • Fantastic stay in the heart of wine country! My friend and I stayed at Marie-Christine and Willy's place while visiting the Bordeaux area and it was an excellent stay. The apartment (or half/house really) was perfect for us and could have accommodated a larger group no problem. It was clean, well outfitted, and very comfortable - also the location on their vineyard was really authentic and great for a visit to Bordeaux!

Marie-Christine and Willy genuinely enjoy hosting travelers and it's apparent immediately and throughout the stay. Marie-Christine welcomed us warmly, provided us some jams, eggs from their chickens, and drinks. Willy happily gave us a tour of his own wine-making process, complete with a bottle of his delicious wine, and sat down to go over some highlights in the area and a description and quick history of wine in the Bordeaux region.

It was a truly excellent stay, and one that was thoroughly enjoyed. I will absolutely stay with Marie-Christine and Willy whenever I'm back in the Bordeaux area, and HIGHLY recommend other AIRBNB'ers to do the same! Thanks for the great visit!

  • We had a brilliant stay with Willie and Marie-Christine. They are welcoming and lovely hosts and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Willie has a love and depth of knowledge of the area that is exciting to hear about. The highlight of the visit was the your of his winery. We will definitely be back. Also fresh baked bread every morning with home made jam is to die for

  • What a nice and peaceful place. The welcoming was great, the bread amazing, and Willy explained to use about the region and history and made great recommendations for our super short stay in the area- thank you both so much!! I wish we had more time but hopefully we will return soon :)

  • We had a lovely time at La Corne. As with other reviews, we wish we had booked a longer stay! Marie-Christine and Willie are warm and welcoming. They gave us great advice on what to do with the short time we had in the area. We had freshly baked bread in the morning with homemade jams and eggs from their chickens! Willie even gave us a tour of his winemaking facility. And the apartment is spacious and homey. We had everything we needed, including all the kitchen wares to cook a few meals. Great location for exploring the Bordeaux area and thoughtful, kind hosts. Highly recommended. We will be back one day for a longer stay!

  • Just arrived home after three wonderful weeks with Marie-Christine and Willy. We loved every moment: the house, the surroundings, and the very kind and interested attitude from the hosts who did all what's possible to make our stay enjoyable. A lovely couple at a lovely place. It can hardly be better than this...We will be back soon.....very soon.
Oh...and Willy gave us a course in winemaking.....great!

  • Marie-Christine and Willy are exceptional! Not only did they provide us with a beautiful guest house with all amenities, but they also gave us great advice on places to visit in the area, maps, directions, and pointers on the best locations for our short stay (Saint Emilion and castles). We only booked the guest house for 3 nights, which is not nearly enough....we suggest staying longer (at least a week)! Willy is quite the baker (fresh bread in the morning), and Marie-Christine is a master at making jam (goes well with the fresh bread)!!!!! Willy gave us an awesome tour of the vineyard and we only can hope to return to help out during harvest season and share more laughs with his amazing couple. BOOK THIS! You will have an amazing experience!!!!

  • We had a wonderful time staying here, the countryside surrounding the property is beautiful, the house and garden lovely. Our hosts made us very welcome and ensured our stay was enjoyable and successful in every way. With Willy's meticulous care to detail, we were able to visit all the local attractions and places with ease. (He knows all the best routes and places to park!).

We loved our holiday here and felt totally relaxed.

  • We spent three nights with Marie-Christine and Willy. Their property is idyllic and there is so much to see and do in the area. We were on the go for the few days we were there, thanks to Willy’s expert counsel. We could easily have stayed a few more days to relax and do some more local exploring. Marie-Christine and Willy are very thoughtful hosts, making for an easy and enjoyable stay. After touring some of the larger chateaux in the Bordeaux region it was very interesting to learn about Chateau La Corne – not to mention enjoy the fruits of the labour! Many thanks, Marie-Christine and Willy!

We are a french-danish couple. We've lived in Denmark, the United States and now France. We bought Château La Corne 15 years ago. Willy had to learn everything about wine making, a real challenge. I take care of the house and the renting of the apartment. Through wine selling and renting we have the opportunity to meet many different people and we love it.
