Hot tub/sauna! Please read the whole description before booking. Dew Valley Nature Retreat is your peaceful sanctuary in nature, perfect for rejuvenating your soul. The Hobit House is nestled on over an acre of private woodland. Relax on the patio, listening to the birds or the ocean, or take a stroll around the property to explore the scenic trails.
Due to the listing being shared with free range farm animals, we are unable to Host any animals. ZERO OUTSIDE PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS

Hobit House at DVR Nature Retreat
Nestled on over an acre of private woodland, the Hobit House offers a serene glamping experience in Bandon, Oregon. The cozy interior features a new queen mattress under a skylight, providing a restful night's sleep. A private, detached bathroom is just a short 60-foot walk away and is secured with key access. Hot outdoor showers are shared with other guests, and a hot indoor shower and sink are available in the shared shower shanty.

This retreat is shared with free-range farm animals, so please keep the gate closed, drive at posted speed limits, and note that pets are not allowed. As a "glamping" experience, guests are required to bring their own cooking supplies if they wish to prepare meals.

Explore & Unwind at The Hobit House

Take a leisurely stroll along our scenic trails and meet our friendly free-range animals—Rikki, Hammy, and the goats are often eager to greet visitors. For your convenience, BBQ utensils are available for use, and bikes are provided for exploring the area. You can also rent crab rings and receive a lesson at the red shed.

Inside, you'll find a selection of items for sale that you might have forgotten during your trip. Engage in friendly competition with games like badminton, cornhole, and ladder ball in the designated game area, or relax by the seasonal pond, where you can spot local wildlife. After a day at the beach, warm up in the hot tub or sauna—perfect for soothing your muscles and unwinding under the stars.

Because our accommodations are spread out across 40 acres of beautiful, forested land—and we offer so much privacy—we kindly ask that you check in between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

This allows us to personally welcome you, ensure you find your site easily, and provide all the information you’ll need for a great stay.

It’s just the two of us running everything here, so we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this check-in window!
Need a little extra time?
We do offer a late check-in until 9:00 PM for a $25 fee, with advance notice at the time of booking. This charge will be processed through Airbnb for your approval.

Once you've settled in, you're just a 10-minute drive from the charming town and nearby beaches — perfect for an evening stroll or a bite to eat.

Animal Interaction
While you're welcome to enjoy the presence of our free-range animals, please do not feed them —as this can encourage aggression amongst them.

Trash Policy
We kindly ask that you dispose of your trash in the provided can. If you have excess trash that doesn’t fit, please take it with you when you leave.
