Situated on Stratton Rd, one of Williamstown’s most breathtaking addresses, sits a sunny, oversized guest house on 12 acres with limitless mountain views! Built new in 2003 by a Fortune 50 CEO, this home is appointed with absolute top of the line amenities and finishes, and is tailor-made for luxury relaxation and entertaining. It is perfect for two families, with 2 matching king master suites located on the main level and abundant room for children on the first floor.

The space
The prize of this home, however, is the spectacular timber-framed great room. With its vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, hardwood floors, imported rugs and luxury furniture, the room sucks you in and begs you to stay. Until, that is, the goshen stone patio, located through french doors flanking the fireplace, beckons you out onto the sun soaked patio and it’s 180 degrees of mountain views. With its appointments, construction, and setting, this property feels far more like a five star resort than a home.
The first floor has a kitchen that is perfect for entertaining, with its industrial appliances. The cavernous, casual living space can sleep as two families’ worth of children or additional guests. Guests will also have access to the private tennis court.
The Northern Berkshires are known for the arts, with world class museums The Clark - home to a remarkable collection of Impressionists and American masters, MASSMoCA, with its endless galleries of contemporary genius and robust performing arts calendars, plus the celebrated Williams College Museum of Art. In the summer, the Tony-winning WIlliamstown Theater Festival takes the stage at Williams College, just 1.5 miles from the home.

If you’re looking to get outdoors and see what The Berkshires has to offer you can start on this glorious property and the miles of immediately accessible hiking trails or check out many of the other nearby area attractions. No matter what season there is plenty to do!
You can take a drive or hike to the top of the tallest mountain in Massachusetts, Mt Greylock. Play golf at Taconic Golf Club, rated top college golf course in the country and one of Golf Magazine’s Top 50 Courses You Can Play. You can test your nerves by flying through the tree tops at Ramblewild, go whitewater rafting on the Deerfield River, test your fly-fishing skills on any of the areas well stocked rivers. Come winter, enjoy the freshly fallen snow at any of the area ski resorts. For the cross country skiing enthusiast Notchview has more than 3,000 acres of rolling terrain to explore. For the more adventurous downhill skier you can take your pick from nearby Berkshire East and Jiminy Peak, or venture an hour north to Vermont’s Stratton, Mount Snow, and Bromley.

Guest access
Guests have access to all of the amenities included in this listing. They do not have access to the indoor pool, wine cellar or workout room, all of which should be locked. (Though sometimes humans make mistakes and fail to lock doors - guests should not take this as an invitation to use the space.)

If any other amenities on site are of interest to guests, they should ask before using them if they were not included in the listing.

Other things to note
This house is in a neighborhood; we ask that our guests respect the neighbors and keep outside noise to a minimum, especially into the evening.

Children should not be left unattended on the property. Please make sure children, including teenagers, respect the property as someone's home.
