We expect our guests to be non-smokers, and respectful in general. We will be quiet for you, but love to hear laughter! Our small dog "Foxy" does bark when guests arrive, then she settles to 'guard' us all. We no longer accept guest pets unfortunately. We can help you make pet care arrangements nearby if needed.
Laura and George were very accommodating to our arrival and departure schedules, and made us very comfortable with the suite. We enjoyed walking around in the neighbourhood and found it a very convenient short drive to Penticton. Great hosts, very friendly and made us feel welcome!
Laura, George and their cute dog Foxy gave us a very warm welcome and were great hosts. We got lots of customized tips in matters of activities, restaurants, events, routes etc.
The suite is tastefully furnished, very clean, spacious and cosy. A simple breakfast with coffee, milk, yoghurt and granola is provided. The booking/ check-in and -out was smooth and the communication very direct and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay in Naramata and can highly recommend this airbnb accomodation to everyone.
Thank you Laura and George for an outstanding experience. Our accommodations were comfortable, spacious and clean, and we really appreciated the thoughtful extras that were provided. Laura and George were not only welcoming, but provided excellent information on how to even better enjoy the beautiful area in which they live. The neighbourhood is quiet and there are two good wineries within easy walking distance. The town of Naramata is close by and the local hotel has excellent food and ambiance. Public access to Okanagan Lake is available as well. We will be back!
We had such a great time here! Laura and George are wonderful hosts. Laura greeted us when we arrived and gave us tons of information on wineries and other activities to do while in Naramata. We took her up on several of her recommendations and were not disappointed.
The suite is spacious with a private entrance from a lovely garden. It was very clean and tidy. The little touches like milk, yogurt, bottled water, tea/coffee and cereal that were provided were so nice and we enjoyed having leisurely breakfasts in the suite.
The location of the suite is amazing! Right in the middle of the Naramata bench, we were able to walk to 6 wineries and a distillery in a 5km loop (with a few hills) directly from the suite so no need for driving.
We hope to return soon!
We enjoyed our stay with Laura and George they were very friendly and attentive. The suite is separate from the rest of the house so it felt like a little house with its own entrance and a front yard. Everything was very clean and neat. Nice sized separate bedroom and spacious living area. The location was great, reasonable walking distance into Naramata town and beach but in the country and within close walking distance of 3 Wineries.
Laura and George were wonderful hosts. They had some staple items ready in the fridge and were ready to answer any questions we had about the area.
The suite is private and very clean. Was perfect for our 1 1/2 year old to run out onto the lawn to play.
We loved our stay here! Before we arrived, Laura made sure we had all the details so we would be able to find their place. She was always available for all my questions leading up to our stay.
Once we arrived, Laura was very welcoming - showed us around the suite, provided us with a lot of information about the area, gave us tips on cycling the Kettle Valley Railway and recommendations for restaurants & attractions, and brought us fresh peaches and cherry tomatoes from her garden! Laura was available any time we had a question and she pointed out interesting things throughout our stay (including the local Great Horned Owl). The suite is clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
Thank you for a wonderful time. We wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to see you again!
I am a retired RN who has raised two great sons. My husband George and I enjoy the outdoors, skiing and hiking. I love to garden and meet new people. We have a rescued dog "Foxy" who comes kayaking with us. We love animals and birds and take the time now to enjoy everything around us! We both love to travel and plan to explore Baltic countries soon and be AirBnB guests ourselves!
We support our local wineries, and love to share travel stories on our deck.
We hope to meet you here in Naramata!
